Yeah I remember seeing Chandler hanging with Bieber I think last summer. It's weird. I mentioned in another thread that with James Jones, I wonder if Jones may have been part of the leak that Irving wanted out. It would explain why we didn't make a trade before the draft so Kyrie's value would plummet. And again, I would think Jones has at least asked Kyrie if he wouldn't mind playing in Phoenix or else the Suns wouldn't be a part of the trade rumors surrounding him.

Im pretty sure we didnt make the trade pre-draft because Gilbert found out what Griff was looking at doing and fired him, not knowing that Irving wanted out. It wasnt us who stopped the deal, but Cleveland. Gilbert is known to do harsh things based off emotion (Comic Sans). I think he bit himself in the ass with this one, and now regrets the whole series of events. Here they would have had Bledsoe and Jackson for Irving, AND kept Griffin (making Lebrons happy).

So, im just chillin, reading TMZ and i see this story about how Irvings trade request came after meeting with this Celeb Church Pastor Carl Lentz. Yes the same Carl Lentz that has been hanging with Justin Bieber, and also reportedly the cause of Bieber cancelling the rest of his world tour. Anyways, the story talked about how Irving, Bieber, and Lentz were all 3 hanging out this past weekend, and they had a video attached showing them playing a Pop-Shot game at Dave & Busters. As im watching this video, im like, "Hmmmm.... that 7 foot bearded fellow next to Bieber looks an awfully lot like Tyson Chandler!"

So i do a little more research, and sure enough it is him. This article links Chandler with Bieber and Lentz:

And just now as i was checking Youtube to see if TMZ had the video uploaded of the Dave & Busters trip, i found this:

So long story short, Chandler was with Irving and Lentz (And Bieber) when the discussion about leaving Cleveland supposedly took place.

Eh, you're likely right. LVSuns saw James Jones and McD sitting together during SL before they announced Jones was going to be VP. Not sure if he ever posted that info or not.

5. Where will Kyrie Irving play in 2017-18?

Haberstroh: Phoenix. I think an Eric Bledsoe and Jared Dudley swap should do it. I wouldn't put Josh Jackson in the deal if I'm the Suns. The Cavs don't have many realistic suitors who can offer a really good young point guard who plays defense and an ideal role player like Dudley.

Windhorst: Phoenix has the best cadre of assets to make a deal. Regardless of the Suns' current negotiating position, they probably could make it happen. They have to evaluate their timeline and the risk of Irving leaving in free agency, but that's the team. After that, Minnesota. As for Cleveland, I have no idea what the Cavs' future will look like until I see what they get for Irving.

Yes, I just read that too and thought "Well, that's obviously a deal I'd do." Dudley does make sense for them for this year, and we'd have to take Frye back or Shumpert or something, but that's obviously worth it.

Though about you mentioning a pick. I still probably wouldn't trade any of our own unprotected or the Miami 2021. They'd have to have at least SOME protection on it. Especially next year's and our 2020 pick.

Didn't that article also say somewhere that Towns and Butler were really trying to convince Thibs to go for Kyrie?

The only pick I am offering , well two picks, the Heat pick with some lottery protection still and the Toronto second rounder

I actually think if you trade for Kyrie, I never thought I would say this, but Shumpert makes sense as he can play defense. And his contract expires the same year as Dudley so no great loss. Suns can take on expirings, like Frye or Jefferson or even Shumpert and that gives the Cavs HUGE tax savings since they are a repeat tax team

Just him sitting next to him got pointed out on TV and I saw an article or two about Murray because of it.
