Let's all hope Sacramento implodes this year in the stacked western conference and pray Boogie demands a trade.

With Bledsoe on the Suns, maybe we can get him here?

Would love to see a Dragic/Bledsoe/Boogie big 3 with Isaiah, Markieff, Marcus, and Green running support.

We've got loads of draft picks and young talent in Ennis, Goodwin, Plumlee, Len, and Warren to bargain with when the next 20/10 all-star caliber big man gets pissed off.

Glad to hear that it seems like Goran resigning is basically a formality at this point.

Hopefully that doesn't change.

I'm just nitpicking because I really dislike Paul.

Bledsoe is on a decent deal. An overpay now but you have to overpay for young premier talent and the contract would probably be much easier to swallow when the new TV deal gets done and the salary cap is increased.

Yeah I hear you. I do not like or respect him. But as one of the most senior Suns fans in existence, I am happy we kept a key member of our team.

Totally agree. Still will not respect Bledsoe but I have to root for the suns to win.

Yeah because Ryan McDonough hasn't had any control thus far.

If you are referring to cousins as boogie, totally agree. The guy is a beast. Don't care how crazy he is. Barkley was considered crazy too but he took us to the finals. Cousins would be a dream scenario. An addition of cousins makes this team a true contender.

No doubt about that. Just glad we (hopefully) won't have to hear from Rich Paul for a while.

Thinking about it now, I think we're actually positioned really well. With Goran/Kieff coming up for extensions/resigning next year, if we can get them on a decent contract then we'll have a solid young core locked up with significant increases in the salary cap in two seasons.

SF88 wrote:This contract depends on his health ESPECIALLY since its a 5 year with NO team options AT ALL in it. If he continues to miss more than 10 games/season throughout his contract, then yea we got ripped off. If he doesn't then we got a good deal.

Just to keep perspective though, Kyle Lowry, who is every bit as good as him except doesn't have anything close to the injury trouble that Bledsoe has, got just $12M/yr.

I'm not excited about the $$ in the contract, I'm excited to put this behind us and to just focus on the new season now.

do not agree. lowry is a very good player and has more experience than bledsoe. but he doesn't have the physical tools bledsoe has. lowry is a better playmaker, which is good because they are both PGs. bledsoe is better at everything else IMO. it would be ideal if Bledsoe could be paired with another guard who can create off the dribble. hopefully the Suns can find someone.

You think so?

Basically Suns will end up using their cap space resigning and extending their own players... which in theory isnt bad, but thats assuming the Suns have the correct personnel to make a run for a ring.

I dont think Kieff is a starting PF for a top 4 contender....
Bledsoe, Dragic is a fine PG/SG punch... but Suns will need for Kieff, Len, Plumlee to all become elite defenders atleast or be two way contributors.. like atleast replicate a 38 year old Tim Duncan's impact both sides... which only Len has potential to... in 3-4 years, order to be a top 4 team.

I would like to see assist numbers double this year. Besides not having legit bigs, I think my biggest Complaint is our assist numbers stink. We tend to play too much one on one ball. Hopefully coach can fix that up.

I'm stoked for a bled-dragic-warren-keif lineup...could be most solid 1-4 line up in a year or two. Ive got high hopes for Warren, his D is underrated. Love IT-Green-Tucker off the bench. Praying that Miles and Len keep developing, otherwise I'm flipping picks+Archie+Len for PF/C at the deadline...I hear NJ has $-problems and another Fropez in need of healthy feet
