Blesdoe for Randle, Jordan Hill, and removal of protection on pick. Tell Goran we love him and hand him the keys to the car.

Dragic / IT / Ennis
Green / Goodwin / Bullock
Tucker / Marcus / Warren
Kief / Wright / Randle
Len / Hill / Plumlee

Move Kief/Marcus/Tucker/Plumlee/IT this summer

Goran / Ennis
Bullock / Goodwin / Zoran
Warren / LaL 1st ?
Randle / Wright / Brown
Len / Hill

McD stated several months ago that the Suns were not going to make trades anymore where they shipped the best player out. If that's the case, I suspect Dragic isn't going anywhere today. He'll try to deal Thomas and maybe Green/Plumlee and wait until the offseason to do anything with Dragic. He's not going to be bullied into making a bad deal and that's all he's going to get if he trades Dragic today.

I haven't caught up today but what about a Dragic for Reggie Jackson swap straight up.
We don't need him but at least stretch the 'asset' through the summer.

F what McDuh said a couple months ago. He better 'un-stubborn' his knowitall ass and soon. I'm beginning think this guy and his stat-book-look at players is the problem. They are all pawns in his mind. He never played the game, he doesn't relate. I am going to assume (really you say?) the players view him in a nerdish baldly geek way. Babby has some cred... but McDuh ? What really has he done to garner respect from the locker room? He's a flesh peddler.

Broussard said on Mike and Mike that no way Dragic re-signs with the Kings, Rockets, Celtics or Pacers. He also said it's looking like New York and Miami, the Lakers don't have enough to offer. Knicks are offering THJ and Calderon (ew), said Sarver feels disrespected by Dragic trashing the organization (good thing he's on McD's side here).

You have to assume we get some players in return. So I highly doubt you guys get what you think you want. Bullock probably is the best suited to grab some minutes as well, for all you have listed is guards. Ennis should be ready for the spot 15 minutes, but again, I would assume we get a guard back.

If a roster spot opens up, I wouldn't mind bringing Alex Brown in earlier than expected. Put him on a non guaranteed contract for next season, and throw him in if we are for sure missing the playoffs, along with the other young chuckers we have waiting to fill the shots taken by Dragic, IT, and Green.

I'm not sure why the youth movement fans keep leaving Bullock off their list. 23/9 in the DLeague, 40+% from three, and a decent defender from 1-4.

Salaries don't match. Would probably have to include Perkins for Miles.

I'd accept that. Dragic would not commit to resign, but maybe OKC would take him anyway for the playoff push. They would lose Reggie in the offseason anyway (he is a RFA, but they won't have the cap to match, if I understand correctly)

I agree that the way McD operates probably turns a lot of players off. It's the whole analytics vs experience thing all over again. But at the end of the day, he's the boss and you don't have to like him, but you do have to respect him. He hasn't done anything to actively sabotage the franchise, he's overall made solid decisions and I think the majority of the fan base would grade him probably a B/B- right now.

I don't mind that McD is stubborn. Think about if Suns had been stubborn with Joe Johnson. JJ himself said he wouldn't pout or hurt the team if they matched. But we chickened out and shipped him out for Boris Diaw. The front office(s) before McD have made SO many head scratching moves that I can't even count them (Paying Marcus Banks gobs of money, getting cheap on Tim Thomas, trading away picks for nothing, etc.). After a near decade of being bent over and raped in trades, free agency, etc. I don't mind having someone with a spine running things, he's not perfect, but he's better than all the 'nice guys' we've had as GMs.

Codman, the guy who posts insider messages in code on clutchfans just wrote this:

It's getting close. Too close. What else did we expect, I guess?

The alleged 23-in-the fourth quarter isn't the same mouth as his agent. Does he have some preferences? Yes, but only because agent man, who ThundaD knows well, wants to give him a brand. Here's to you back-to-back MVP! I don't know if this target is a nasty as one of the best PG's of all time. You know, the guy likes to reset his nose and play with one eye.

The Suns are going to get the best deal for them, even if he has control. Control? Ha...watch when someone figures out that nobody runs a team on their own anymore. Where?

There's a nice agent bluff. There are preferences, however, it's not necessarily the client, as it is the agent. We'll see. Brand? The only long-running brand is Jordan, right? Luckily, we have Morey. First option? Mehh....That's not IT.

We still have our original homecoming targets, looking to help, and us vice-versa. No one wants to be sent to the cold. Lawd, you don't want your owner to send 4 of ya'll to Russia by mistake. 3-way? No...that's inappropriate. Well, yes, maybe, just for this. I'll apologize to the lady later.

Doc mentioned something cryptic (yeah, I know, the pot calling the kettle black) about sands and cold, right? No idea on that one except:

There's a rescue effort in depths of, well, a mile-high of snow. Fire sale. Melt the ice. Media Maniac cooled the hearts of his players. The relationship is strained. Guys want OUT. I read some of this, but consider that you may be drunk on love with someone. Take a step back, take that "love" to an AA meeting ( no disrespect on that one) and reconsider. There's a different prize.
I'd be more excited if that were the case. I've met homie, before he was shipped out.

We'll see what happens. Love ya'll. Clarification soon, but I've gotta eat today.

For how long can the Suns suspend Dragic without pay for conduct detrimental to the team? 1-5 games? More?

GMs are not supposed to be players' buddies. Their job is to assemble a winning team. His track record is excellent so far taking a 25-win team and producing what looks to be back-to-back winning seasons with a surplus of young, talented players going forward. But whatever.

Gorilla Warfare wrote:If Miami, LA, and New York are the only teams he will re-sign with that honestly means one thing...his Slovenian supermodel of a wife wears the pants in the relationship. 3 great cities to boost your career as a fashion model. That's the only thing that makes sense because from a basketball standpoint 2 out of the 3 are just flat out awful and on all 3 teams he won't be the center of attention like he wants to be.

Not trying to be a dick, but if the Knicks sign Dragic and dump Calderon/Thjr,
they would go into the offseason with:

Carmelo
Dragic
Top 4 draft pick (potentially #1 - Okafor)
Plus roughly $27 million in cap space.

That's not as bad as the media is making it seem. If they have Okafor, Melo, Dragic plus $27 mil, plenty of free agents will sign.

the stupidity of this whole thing is mind blowing. Dragic is a punk diva bitch for only considering 3 **** teams and public killing any deals to the other 26.

but if Sarver keeps him out of anger and spite he's just as much of an idiot. Well now we know why gambo was preaching this stupid ass plan yesterday. This really makes me wonder if McD tried trading Goran before this came out but Sarver meddled.

Suns and Nuggets working a deal with Dragic????

Media Maniac = Dragic
cooled hearts of his players = teammates aren't happy with him
rescue effort in a mile-high of snow = Denver

Return to Phoenix Suns
