Did you watch him play? I have just watch some highlights. What do you think about him?
I found his stats really unimpressive and he doesn't seem to be a shot creator/facilitator. Great on defense? Potential as a 3&D?
I think that Cedric Coward is similar to him but he has already shown that he can score efficiently and he is great on defense. Similar size and athleticism, Coward 2 years older.

Re: The Official 2025 Offseason Thread Part 3
I am big on Sorber and what he will bring Defensively. I think he will a very good pick and roll player and will really change the defense of the Suns with him as an anchor. As far as his height at 6'10 with a 7'6" wingspan it will not be a problem. He is a 74% free throw shooter basically the same the Amare was when he came into the NBA. While we may not see him in the summer leagues he will be ready for camp and seems like a very good guy in some interviews I have seen.
Just say no to idiots!!

I want Collin Murray-Boyles if Maluach is off the board.

My guesses:
Sorber
Bryant
Queen - maybe
Cedric Coward
Collin Murray Boyles
Maluach might be listed but I think he will be gone

Gambo tweeted "no guards" -- doesn't mean it won't be a guard but seems pretty easy to think the Suns would prioritize a 4/5 type player based on roster. I still think if the best player Demim, no need to pass on him

Yeah, we are gonna prioritize PF/C and I understand it if we have multiple players in the same tier.
But in that case I wouldn't draft a 3&D SF neither (thinking about Carter Bryant) because we have Dunn and Dillon already on the team and I doubt he is clearly better than some of the PF/Cs who will be available at #10.

Totally agree. There is not need for another SF like you mention. Suns have the 2/3 spots pretty much covered. Is there an Amare type out there?

I keep checking and refreshing hoping to see Beal, Allen, or O'Neale's name.

Collin Murray-Boyles and Noa Essengue are the first two players Gambo listed as who the suns are interested in.

I'm personally lukewarm on Dillon Brooks remaining on the team (he's shorter for a sf and doesn't rebound well enough to be pushed to pf reliably... also he's just a jerk). Don't think Dunn has done enough other than to prove he's an nba player. We're supposedly looking to trade Grayson and Royce, and if so, we need nba players to replace those minutes. Suns desperately need more rebounders, but if the bpa is a 3&d wing that can get them boards then sign me up. Would be good if they could trade back with the Thunder and take some combo of Carter/Coward/Queen/Fleming/Sorber/Wolf depending on who falls.

My guess, those names will ramp up post draft - so on Friday or early next week
But yes, those are the names - especially Beal

You cannot be serious. We need an enforcer on this weak ass team.
Do you even pay attention to the NBA?
