I'm not nessesarily saying I would take him number 1 but Jackson is my favorite player in this draft. His length and athleticism would be so much fun to slot into the suns rotation. He looks like a dude whos going to be able to guard multiple positions and help you in so many ways.

I guess he's definitely going pro, so here we go:

Lauri Markkanen

I'm firmly on the JJ train now too. Insane motor, athletically gifted, defensively oriented, offensively talented, great unselfish passer, doesn't need the ball in his hands to make an impact, and as a bonus, drafting him doesn't force us to trade Bledsoe. He will do so much for our ball movement and transition game and defense.

Bled/Book/JJ/Chriss/Len with Ulis/DJJ/Warren/Bender/Chandler/Williams as backups is a fantastic next step for our rebuild. I'd still be open to trades along the way and a PG who fits our core better, but in this draft, all else equal, I want Jackson.

I don't know enough for sure, and Jackson is easy to like, but I'd probably lean Fultz, mostly because I think PG is a bigger need right now for our future, and I think him and Booker would make a great back court. Another big factor is that everyone who has mocks or rankings rates Fultz first.

Yeah I won't complain if we get Fultz but the concerns about his engagement on defense and ability to play his game against better defenders/defenses worry me more than Jackson's weaknesses (jumper, and age if that counts as a weakness). And I don't love the idea of ending up structured like Portland with two awesome score-first guards taking up like half our cap. Would rather have a more well-rounded and versatile team and it seems JJ would be a big step toward that.

I'm fine with JJ except for potentially the personal issues, domestic violence or whatever it was. I really wonder what McD thinks of Ball.

They really seem to act like Bled will be here long term as well, or at least next year.

I am AOK with Fultz, Ball, or Jackson. I will be a bit disappointed if we don't get one of those three.

Booker's lack of defense will bite the suns in the coming seasons if it hadnt already. I like Fultz best but if he doesnt improve defensively or atleast his efforts then you have Blazers v2.0. You need a very good defensive system and at the 3 4 5 to neutralize the bleeding.

Josh Jackson is probably my second choice...
I like him a lot. I see him becoming more like a well rounded Wiggins... Someone who put up 16 5 and 5 after 3 seasons with excellent defense.

Fox has smashed Ball both games.

Just needs to be able to hit the 3 once or twice a game.

Is Lonzo Ball still in anyone's top 3 after tonight's embarrassment? Not mine.

Ball played how he always plays, just missed an extra 3 or hed be 13/9 which is close to his 14/7 average.

Main change is the narrative which was always flawed.
