I'd really prefer we don't trade Knight for nothing. I dislike him as much as the next Suns fan and would like to see him gone, but he's still only 25 and has had some degree of success in the league prior to being awful in Phoenix. If we're not getting at least a late 1st, we shouldn't be selling this low on him.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when the same Suns fans that whine about Knight every single game start whining about what we get back for him though :lol:

I guess the question with Knight is how confident are they he can be moved this summer if need be. If you feel like these same deals (an early second) will be available at that time then you hang onto him and see if he plays a little better and rehabs his value some. I guess how they feel about Ulis would have some impact on him too since moving him now would open up some valuable developmental minutes for Tyler the rest of this season.

Damn, was hoping we would surprise and trade for Noel ourselves. Depending on what Dallas gave up, Noel will be a big part of their present and future, I'm jelly. lol

Agreed. This reeks of last year. I hate the mentality of "trade to make a move". Unless we plan on making a big FA splash this summer his salary doesn't matter. He's not a locker room distraction and hopefully we can learn to embrace this ala Jamal Crawford. Plus, like stated earlier, I don't see him moving for that cheap if only because it'd be the Lakers pick for almost nothing. We need to wait it out unless we get actual value.

Also, I know this post is out of left field. Been lurking lately. 8-)

Good job by Dallas getting top 18 protection on that pick. Pretty much guarantees it doesn't convey this season. I wonder if that protection goes down in following years.
