Maybe, but you don't pass up on Jordan because you have Drexler. Obviously that's not a direct comparison but I'm saying if you believe Isaac is the best player, you take him. Don't mess around.

I know what you're trying to say but Isaac and Jordan coming out of college are on two different planets. Isaac is benefiting purely because everyone wants to find the next Giannis or KG and this guy is not either of those imo

Exactly. I don't know why people keep saying that Isaac has a very high potential. He has a poor feel for the game on offense and can't handle or pass the ball whatsoever. High basketball IQ is a prerequisite to become a star in the NBA. Isaac is destined to be a high-end role player.

yep, Jackson received a promise from LA or Boston, that's for sure.
i think i'm leaning on the Celtics for now, after his rage on twitter.

IF Lonzo ends up in LA, we'll have a great opportunity to cash-in on Sacramento.

That's not good. NBA players and potential draftees will not look kindly on that. Nor do I. Even if it's what you think, you certainly shouldn't be saying that.

How will Suns cash in from Sacramento when they know Suns are targeting Isaac.... Kings want Fox.

I think its still 1. Fultz and 2. Ball. You have to wonder who the bulls would draft at #3 if this trade is all about getting Butler to Boston. JJ to replace Butler? Tatum to give them a new look? Fox?

Wonder who/if anyone will work out in ChiTown.

But if the Suns believed that Ball or Jackson were a level above those guys as prospects dealing a lotto protected 1st or the heat pick is an acceptable cost to get the guy you want. Now if the Suns wouldn't protect their pick to at least top 10 it's a crazy ass deal they shouldn't do.

If they went with Ball it could set up an interesting chain of events where Jackson goes 3, the Lakers take Fox at 4, Sac goes Smith at 5, and Orlando takes who ever they like best of Isaac or Tatum. Then Minnesota would be on the clock and is a realistic Bledsoe destination. Suns could conceivable come out of the draft with both Ball and one of Tatum or Isaac... that would be a hell of a draft day.

That's my wish too.

Ball- 6'6"
Booker 6'7"
Isaac 6'11"
Chriss 6'10"
Bender 7'1"

Ulis, Warren, Sauce, DJJ, Len/Chandler, Dudley, Barbs on the bench.

I'm thinking the same thing. This is McDs contract year and he already came out before the lottery saying he liked Ball number 1 without visits. With Ball passing to Booker and deferring shots Booker would average damn near 30 a game.

Am I the only one who don't like Jackson? Shooting, character, length are not good. I'm also scared of Lavar. Really hope that top 3 will be as planed and Suns will end with Isaac or Tatum.

i really think we are going to pick Tatum at this point, seems to have the work ethic and character the front office is looking for.

Just read about him starting a program for single moms ,and I had read in the past he was a gym rat.

No you're not the only one, bad FT% too. I think he will do well, just not a superstar or an all-star.

Love Tatum's game. I wouldn't be disappointed if we drafted him. I also like some of the later lotto prospects like Monk, Z. Collins, and Dennis Smith Jr.

I still don't see what the big deal is about Isaac is though. Seems like a defensive specialist tweener to me. It will be good for him to go to a team with a pass first PG.

Lonzo Ball is Kendall Marshall with Kevin Martin's shot. All yours Lakeshow.

Fultz is the only sure thing, don't blame Philly for giving up a pick to move up for him.

Interesting comments that fox has known and played with ball since high school and Lavar didn't say much till this year.

I really think that Ainge will take Tatum if he keeps the pick. The Pierce comparisons and structure/buildup of his team, plus his possibilites and the current state of the league with GSW/Cle all point that way. He has the defensive guys and IT, now he can pick up the offensive guy and develop them while remaining competitive. He can pick up the young big next year most likely as Ayton or Bamba should be available between 2-5 where he'll land with either the brooklyn or the LA pick. IT will come back down to earth a bit, so he won't be maxed out. So he remains very competitive with a new offensive weapon - within striking zone if GSW and/or Cleveland falters, and will be ready in 2-3 years when things will definatley change for those two teams (LeBrons age, Currys ankles, disputes within teams, new contracts, etc...). He got real lucky with the Brooklyn fleece, but thats one smart mofo for sure. Good for the C's.

Hence, we will have JJ at 4 - and I m very happy with that. :)

If he goes all in with Butler and Hayward or Griffin then he is not as smart as I think, and all bets are off on who Chichago will take.

personally, I don't see how you take Issac over any of the top 6 -7 guys in this draft. He has so many ifs and concerns. At the moment I don't see this crazy potential people here seems to raving about, I don't see him anything more than a career role player tbh. His asthma, fear of any kind of contact and fear of D when he has the ball are going to take care of that. The more I look at him, the more I see Javale McGee and that is a risk I don't want Suns to take at 4.
Of course if Suns pick him, I hope he succeeds, but I wouldn't put my money on it.

You are not the only one, though don't like is a strong word. I wouldn't mind him as there's plenty to like about him, but yes, his length, frame, small hands all are issues.

Javale McGee? The same McGee that does not know how to dribble the ball?

Yes. I don't think Isaac can much too. But what I meant was more physically. The frame, the athleticism, the potential, the lack of strenght, and of course the asthma and the issues that come with it.
