How did you come away with "LeGM is real"?
Gilbert said Bron was part of the recruiting process this off season with specific mention of DRose.

The Cavs add backcourt depth to compete in the Run/N/Gun league and get another superfriend. Between Lebron/Rose/Wade/Bledsoe, they will have to smuggle in boxes of PED's but if they can keep the 4 of them hopped up and healthy, they gain a lot of firepower
Bledsoe/Rose
Wade/Korver

Kyrie doesn't need to be a superstar. We were open to trading Bledsoe for a lottery pick, so if it's Bledsoe, Warren & Miami pick, consider it two picks and Warren for Kyrie. That's a steal for a top 6/7 PG...ALL STAR...who is 25 years old on a reasonable contract.
Kyrie fills a gap that Bledsoe didn't...youth, talent and upside at the PG position. What other All Star PGs 25 or younger do we envision acquiring in the next few years? Next's year's draft is stacked with Bigs.
Kyrie (25)
Booker (20)
Jackson (20)
Chriss (20) /Bender(19)
Sauce (24) / 2018 draft pick
That is a VERY solid young core.
It was rumored we were interested in one of the top picks in a monster draft, not the same thing as "a lottery pick". If we just wanted to move him for any ol pick in the lotto he'd probably be on the Knicks right now.
And I think you're too caught up on the idea of Irving being an "All Star!" and not questioning if he'd actually make us any better.
Also... Irving will almost certainly not be an All-Star in the Western Conference.

Make a final offer to the Cavs of Bledsoe, Warren, Chriss and '18 Miami pick for Kyrie and one bad contract.
Then use Kyrie to recruit Jimmy Butler to Phoenix when his contract is up in two years also.
Kyrie
Booker
Butler
Jackson
Draft someone next year for C position
You take those cards and put them right back in your hand. We don't need to give up Warren AND Chriss for Kyrie. If they won't take Bledsoe, Dudley, and a Miami pick they can shove it. They won't get a better offer anywhere else. Take it or leave it.
I don't think Warren has much trade value considering that he's on an expiring contract and doesn't do the two things which is required from every wing in the NBA now...defense/3pt shooting.
And I'm growing weary of Chriss attitude and his constant whining and complaining to the refs leading to techs. I know he's young but there's plenty of players his age and younger in the nba who don't have the same problem. Also coming into summer league incredibly out of shape rubs me the wrong way too. I wouldn't mind selling "high" on him so to speak if it lands someone like Kyrie Irving.

Show me where anyone said Bledsoe was worth a top pick in this draft? If we could have cracked the top 10 for Bledsoe, I know many here would have said yes. I think you're getting too caught up in Kyrie vs other realistic alternatives for getting value from Bledsoe. I don't see us getting better value for Bledsoe, even with including Warren & Mia pick, than Kyrie.

I don't think I've ever seen a team get as fleeced in a trade than what you have going to the Bulls here...

I didn't claim he was worth that, I said the RUMORS that were being floated had the Suns pursuing a high pick for Bledsoe. IMO they were not moving him unless they were getting something like Fox or, at worst, Dennis Smith.
My point was that one lotto pick ain't necessarily as valuable as another. Trying to dumb the trade down to "2 firsts and Warren for Kyrie" is a gross over simplification. Bledsoe is not some unknown quantity, like a lotto pick, the Cavs would have no interest in "2 picks and Warren", the only reason this is a topic is because Bledsoe has legit value.
And it is not even about Bledsoe for me. It is about Kyrie. Putting him on this roster is a HUGE risk. It is really hard to see his playing style and Booker's meshing, its hard to see Booker getting the touches he needs to grow into the potential superstar he is with Kyrie here, its hard to see how pairing 2 defenders like Booker and Kyrie would not make for a swiss cheese situation. Its hard to see Kyrie staying here in 2 years when we've likely struggled mightily in the meantime, and if he did stay would Booker want to stay and play along side a guy who is possibly the biggest ball hog in the NBA?
IMO Kyrie Irving is fools gold. If he improves us at all it would be very marginal and if things go poorly it would be a potential disaster.

Oh heck yes! They would have Teague and Wiggins for the last four months of the season peaking for the playoffs. I am saying I don't think the Twolves should do it - unless they can't afford Wiggins and KAT soon. But if the Cavs were truly offered Wiggins and Teague for Kyrie and Frye for the salaries to match, I would do that deal yesterday.
Apparently Towns and Butler are pushing for the Wolves to do it.
You got a reference on that?! That's big news

Minus 17 wins for the Suns in the trade... 7-75... where do I sign up?

We are looking at it from two different perspectives. Not sure either is wrong. I see more risk keeping Bledsoe and hoping for better value later on than trading him now.

smith's ceiling is kyrie-esque, and if he stays healthy he's likely to reach that. so what would be the point of the knicks doing that trade at that point? calling a kid a bust because he hasn't played in the summer league, after he'd been playing in his pro team's finals in europe, is absurd too. i guess the knicks board isn't the only place posters say dumb ****.

Then I'd move him in a 3 team trade with Kyrie going somewhere else. I only wish the Knicks had Smith instead of Frenchy.

What would the point be of the Knicks passing over Smith (which actually happened)? You give up potential for something concrete, I was lamenting that the Knicks don't have Smith to include in the trade because they didn't like him as much as Ntilikina.

that's irrelevant to the point. there would be no point to the knicks trading smith for kyrie in a hypothetical scenario. none. we're attempting to rebuilding as well.

Just his opinion. Doesn't warrant knocking a poster like that for it.

You're trying to extract a hypothetical scenario out of me merely lamenting that the Suns cannot pursue that avenue because, IMO, the Knicks screwed the pooch on draft night. Are you equally opposed to giving up Ntilikina, whom is actually on your roster, as part of an Irving trade?
