Spurs would probably downgrade Ingram's value as they should to get more..

But I think Ingram is a future star, he's 6'10 with shooting and a decent all round game.

if Spurs can get Ingram, Ball or Kuzma and 2 picks, I think thats NOT too bad... but I am confident Ingram is central in the package and he would be a very good player down the line as in 20ppg 7rpg 3apg all round player

Not slating Ingram but Deng's contract is disgusting and is a massive negative in the deal. Lakers need to give up Ingram, Kuzma, and multiple 1sts. Woj already implied Spurs dont' want Lonzo

I still believe that the Clippers could be the dark horse team that lands Kawhi. SA sends him to LA, but doesnt help form the Superteam #3. They could put together a great offer with Harris/#12/#13 along with a future 1st.

Spurs start the new season with Harris/Shai/Williams added.

Murray/Shai
Mills/Ginobili
Harris/Gay
Aldridge/Anderson
Gasol/Williams

I want Paul George next Harden, I did that in NBA 2K16, 2K17 and 2K18 and they were Great together lol

So if CP3, Lebron and Kawhi goes Lakers... so be it... George goes to Rockets and live out my 2K fantasies!

I think Clippers and Jerry West will convince Spurs to trade with them.

Pick 12, 13, Harris.... all handy now and the future for Spurs... and as you mentioned, they dont help Lakers whom they consider as rivals form a super team. Lakers will use up the cap space.... so 2019.... they are out of the Klay Thompson race.

Klay joins Kawhi in Clippers.... West is stacked for the next 3-4 years

Hell, Clippers could send Harris/Jordan/#12/#13 for Kawhi/Mills/White and it fits capwise for the Spurs, be the best offer, and would help the Clippers be the new team in LA (Kawhi would be a great way for Jerry to start his tenure in LA, and perfect for him to start to build a franchise around).

As for the Spurs, that would be a hell of a team! You got Harris/Gay/Aldridge/Gasol/Jordan/Ginobili......

I get living in Houston is not LA - but all things equal - and the Rockets get back Capela and Paul

I think CP3, Harden, PG13 and Capela >> Kawhi, James and PG13

granted, i have no idea who would be left on the Rockets besides Nene and Gerald Green. Unless Morey has pictures to dump Ryan Anderson somewhere

Clippers can't trade Jordan unless he ops in, which he'd be dumb to do.

Lebron needs catch and shoot players to get his numbers and ideal one on ones...

Kawhi is not a catch and shoot player, when he averaged 25ppg and became a top 3 player he was used as an iso player at the elbows and baseline.... Kawhi would need to sacrifice a lot to play next to Lebron.

George too.... but with George he's got experience playing with a similar player in Westbrook. So he knows playing with Lebron is just a better version of playing next to Westbrook.

Having all 3 on the same team however...

the defense would be GOAT level though.... perimeter wise... itll be similar to Pippen and Jordan suffocating wing players back in the old days

Don't put it past Pop to trade Leonard to some forsaken franchise as far from LA as he can. History shows he despises the Lakers. I suspect he will trade Leonard to another team, like in the East just to screw up the Lakers' attempt to put together another "super team" which could leave Leonard out in the cold. I know Leonard can leave after a year, but he likely wants to go to LA now because LeBron, if he goes to the Lakers, will not want to wait a year to put the team together before being able to compete. Leonard's spot can be filled by George or Chris Paul, both of whom are available right now, and Leonard will be on the outside looking in when he is available in a year. Think of a sign and trade of Leonard for Aaron Gordon. :D

rumor has it Kyrie wanted to go to the SPurs

Kawhi and Patty Milsl (Rozier will start) for Kyrie, Tatum (or Jaylen Brown) and because I love Pop, Mook Morris

Why? Not a lot of money out there and he's due like $27 million isn't he?

$24 mil.

Because he could have a disastrous injury next year and lose out on most of a huge contract. He's not going to struggle to find a max team.

$140+ million guaranteed money >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $24 mil + chance to get more if your 7 foot body doesn't break down. And he's not one of those very skilled guys who could maybe possibly bounce back after a bad injury like Boogie. He needs his athleticism to be of any real big money worth.

I think just the opposite. He will struggle to get anywhere near $24M in this years FA. He has never had an issue with injuries, he has missed a total of 13 games over the past 8 years! Thats crazy good.

I agree; I think DJ's market will be soft this summer. I'm not sure Phoenix would have been interested but he had to be somewhat pissed they are drafting Ayton taking them off his suitor list. His camp has to be hoping that Dallas doesn't draft a C at 5 and maybe he can go there although I wonder if they will have interest after that fiasco last time. Phily has space but they obviously don't need a C. The lakers do too but have bigger fish they are chasing. It's kind of hard to find a team that will give him $20+ mil this summer.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

If there will be another super-team in the west NBA just MUST get rid of conferences.

Not too many teams have that kind of cap space. He would have to opt out and do a S&T. I just don't know how many teams really offer centers of his ilk that type of money any more. Most of the teams with a lot of cap space are rebuilding, and he screwed over Dallas once, Atlanta won't do it....Chicago? Philly and LAL are like 2 of the 7 teams with cap space. I think a lot of guys want shorter deals and one year contracts because they would rather be free agents when all those guys come off the books who got bloated contracts in the cap spike summer of 2016. Some of those guys are free agents next year, but a lot of them drop off the books in 2020.

It's not a good summer to be a free agent this year, especially if you are a big.

I'm excited because we will have a chance to capitalize off this mess.

While everyone is trying to acquire overpaid superstars (many of which are getting up there in age), we can probably get some great bargains on younger "forgotten" players that fit the timeline.
