I dont even remember my own first post!

But then again ive had over 24 THOUSAND OF THEM**!

I will never understand WTF an owner of an NBA franchise does by flying to see a basketball game with the intention of seeing a potential draft election.
This is the GM's task, not his.

At least we hired Kokoskov and are after the steps of Brown. I thought Sarver had changed. Now I can see he has not.

These guys are ultimately super fans. I mean imagine you had enough money to buy the Suns and could travel to watch Doncic. I imagine a lot of us would.

As much as we'd like the owner to stay out of huge draft decisions like this I'm sure if many of us owned the Suns we'd want some input.

Holy hell batman!!! Sounds like Doncic. He knows how to score and get by people better than almost any Euro player people have seen and like 8th in Euroleague in steals.

Doncic might be able to do half the things Harden does in the NBA. Harden is such an elite 1v1 player (1.27 points per possession on 32.9% frequency) that when he is in isolation he scores more points more efficiently than: Giannis, Lebron, or Westbrook in transition, Embiid posting up,Klay or Steph coming off of screens,Drummond on putbacks and AD rolling to the rim out of P&R

I feel pretty confident that Doncic will put up better rookie numbers than Harden (9.9pts, 3.2rbs, 1.8asts). Doncic might have a better passing game at the same age too.

I dont know why people are even talking doncic/harden in the same sentence. It's pretty clear harden, even in college was wayyyyyy more explosive than Doncic could ever hope to be. Let's be real here, even a lot of "team ayton" backers like Luka as a prospect, but he can't even consistently get by euro gaurds. That's just a fact. Personally I wanted Luka so we could match the splash brothers firepower, but as someone else pointed out..are we going to be able to come up with a backcourt that can stay on par with 2 of the greatest shooters to ever step on the floor? I doubt it. I love Luka but I dont take Luka/Booker over Klay/Curry or Harden/Paul ever, not even a blue moon.

Gambo just said that the Wolves WOULD trade Towns for the #1 pick. Things are gonna get interesting in the next few weeks

Klay/Curry and Harden/Paul are all-time great backcourts (hof).

You can't take any 19 year old and 21 year old and bet on them being better..

Problem is that Luka is often compared to Harden or Hayward or who ever as their peak version , "he doesn't have handle as good as James" , as 28 year old mvp James after 10 nba season?! well yeah..Yust because hes skiles are already so developed and so diverse it doesn't mean they cant get much better.r Better shooter, better handle, better decision maker etc.

I'd rather have Ayton + whatever else it would cost us for KAT, but if we do end up getting KAT, we better also grab D'angelo Russell and unite the Three Amigos.

If the Suns have the 30m to spend on Towns - what about this idea - draft Ayton, play him at the 4 and try to sign Capela or even Dedmon for your defensive 5.

The concern with Ayton is lack of defense - well instead of spending 27M+ plus starting next year on Towns - why not spend that on Ayton /Capela - or would that not work?

With a team led by Booker and Towns.

Jackson becomes critical defensively...
Suns should then go hard for Beverly or Bradley.... And a Aminu/MKG type to put at the other forward spot for switches next to Jackson

Bilas on Burns and Gambo today. Said he talked to Avery Johnson about Ayton. Avery Johnson played with both DRob and Duncan. He said this about Ayton.

"He is David Robinson with a jumper."

Don't rip the messenger. I am just relaying information.

Luka will improve or has the ability to improve like all players - the game slows down and they understand the strategy better.

KAT right now is like the top 10 percentile outcome for Ayton but might as well roll the dice and gamble on Ayton's physical tools making him at least a passable rim protector at the next level

Towns is eligible for the 188 mil Supermax after making third team according to Gambo and that may be why Minnesota would trade him.
