But I'm 31 years old and I've been a Suns fan since I was 8. I remember watching KJ at the Mad House. I remember the Barkely trade. I remember watching Marbury win the playoff game VS. the Spurs with his insane shot. I remember Nash taking over the league. I remember being so excited when we almost traded no-defense-Amare for KG which probably would have won us a ring.

Now we have an excellent young team put together and the Morris twins are a big part of that.

I hope they get off, but I hope this scares the **** out of them and they shape up. Fast.

The Morris brothers are not even close to being in the same league as the players you just mentioned. They can both be traded and, in the long run, won't make one bit of difference on the Suns legacy.

Nice to see a fan that was around BEFORE Barkley! Or did you start being a fan right when we got him? My favorite years were 89-92 because we came our of nowhere after trading our best player (Larry Nance) after like a 27 win season (for a rookie PG) and won 55 the next year and got to the WCF and then in 90 we swept the Lakers in the semi's and nearly beat Portland in the WCF (lost 4-2 but we killed them in our wins and all our losses were nail biters).

It was kind of similar to the 2004-5 and 2005-6 years.

Then the next couple of years we got knocked out a little earlier so we got Barkley and made it to the finals. What sucked after that was that we blew two series to Houston in the following to years in the second round. It was like one step forward and two steps back again. Those were heartbreaking losses.

Oh, is this thread about the MoBros? My bad.

Even if they got away with it, the FO wants at least Marcus gone ASAP right?

I doubt it. We gave Tucker a contract extension after he got an "extreme DUI".

Yeah, I doubt they are going to make a knee jerk reaction just because of that. Sure they may be surveying potential deals, and if there is a good one, they will take it, but I doubt they just deal him to get rid of him.

This whole situation concerning the Morris Twins is unbelievable.

At this point there is no credible evidence against either of them and by in large every Suns fan, on the internet, has convicted Marcus for sure and made Markieff his accomplice. They want them shipped out of town ASAP. Just unbelievable. Over reaction at its finest.

Since CBS 5 new reported this incident, I would expect them to be all over this if there was legit evidence to put blame on the Twins. That is there job, to report the news. They have mentioned that there was an altercation and nothing else. That is also what has been reported by the police. They are being convicted by a couple of quote on quote internet insiders telling the story. How would they have more knowledge of the situation than a news channel like CBS news or the police, this makes no sense. I expect that altercations are not that uncommon for virtually every pro athlete. There are a lot of jealous people out there that want what they have. I believe a lot of them have body guards to keep them out of harms way and the newspapers.

I have never read anything negative about the twins past except for some recent remarks from unknown posters on the internet. On the court they certainly have received too many technical fouls but how does that make them thugs or criminals? IMO they have been the first on the scene to break up a scuffle rather escalate any confrontation on the court. Maybe just maybe that is what happened this past weekend. The guy that Marcus reportedly beat up may be a really bad guy and they got into a confrontation and Marcus defended himself. I am going to take the high road and believe that until there is legit evidence from a legit source to put the blame squarely on his shoulders. In my book Marcus is innocent until proven guilty. That is why we have laws in this country.

Thank you for a small bit of sanity around here. It's not guilty until proven innocent, but you'd never know it. Unsubstantiated rumors are being held as fact around here with ZERO evidence backing them up. People think because the "alleged assault" was aired on the news that it is true? Since when have news channels been the beacons of truth and due process?

IMO, it wont. We will hear some more details from he said she said sources, but the expediency and legal thoroughness of team Babby yanked these MoBros right out of the public fire. Clearly they had someone who quickly realized that there could be charges filed. He was willing to negotiate a settlement instead of involving the police/public. Perhaps the best thing to happen that night for all parties involved was MarKeif strong arming a no video rule. Had there been one and it went out, the whole outcome would be different. Right now it is looking like a win win for both sides, while the public will be left with a groggy who rufied me feeling.

Babby Winston Wolf'ed this one out of the park. Pretty please with sugar on top.

My guess is their agent, typically a lawyer, handled the problem. Don't think the Suns want to get involved in any type of coverup. Even then, this whole situation implies something actually happened at the level being claimed by a brother's friend, who knows an uncle, whose boss told him something happened. I'm not even sure what the facts are other than the police confirmed they are investigating something.

There is no cover up. Not if the damaged party agrees to not press charges. It becomes a private matter

and no way does the FO leave it up to the agent.

Not so. If the police have witnesses and a victim showing serious injury then it is up to the prosecutor to decide if charges should be pressed (by taking it to the grand jury). I've sat on a jury where the victim didn't want to testify against the person who assaulted them. Not saying it would happen in this case but assault is not a private matter.

Yeah, no way this story is even remotely true. The Suns wouldn't keep playing guys involved in a serious assault case. /thread

Aint no s**t sources. The fact that i and numerous other people were informed the day after it happened, and knew step by step what was going on (including when the news would report it) just proves the info and the incident was real.

You are just in adamant denial on the subject (along with a few others) and for some reason feel they need to defend the Morrii with every last breath.

Give it time, the truth will come out and we will see who is wrong.
