I think we can catch LAL for the 2 seed. Hornacek is taking us to new lows.

We can get to 76ers level pretty easy, however we will still never get a top 3 pick. The ping pong ball gods would never allow it.
Also, how is Perry Ellis from Kansas not Carlos Boozer's kid?

Re: 2016 Draft and 2015-16 College Basketball
I am remember at one point last year we were projected to take Buddy Hield, but he went back to school. Check out his numbers tonight in the #1 vs #2 game...what a game...wish I would have watched this..triple OT.
He scores 42 points with 8 boards and 7 assists. 8 3s

Hield is basically Foye/Meeks.
Bender will fit so well with your needs going forward, hope he ends up in Arizona.

Re: 2016 Draft and 2015-16 College Basketball
Lakers would be the most stupid to win an extra few games this season.
Brooklyn would want to keep winning to save the embarrassment of potentially giving away a superstar to Boston.
I can't see Philadelphia moving from 1 and Lakers moving from 2. I think Brooklyn is gettable, but they're really just that bad at 3.
Denver and Minnesota are probably our other tank rivals. So I see us as a 3-6 placed lottery position.
Simmons is the only franchise level player I see (there's about 1 a year on average), Ingram with All-Star potential (usually multiple), then it's shallow for star power.
I rate Booker and Warren as at least equal if not better prospects than everyone in the 2016 draft except Simmons.

He looks like Lebron got drunk after a Cav's loss and had sex with Boozer in a Motel 6.

Ingram is definitely a superior prospect to Warren due to his standing reach, length and ability to create his own shot. Simmons is inferior to freshman KAT/AD/KD in my book. Maybe close to the level of Wiggins but without the two way potential

Still plenty of the season for him to turn it around though. Or, if we insist on a big, perhaps trade down or just reach and grab Ellenson or Poetl (although Poetl probably means we need to move Chandler).
I'm not sure it's best to take a SF with Bogdan coming over (he's a 2/3), but we can't get away from BPA, and I'm not certain Skal is that.
As I mentioned in another thread, I've read at least a couple articles of late regarding Warren playing 4. Well, if Brown is the pick, he actually has more bulk, length, and reach than Warren. I don't watch NCAAB until the tourney, so have no idea, but seeing as he has the physical profile to play the 4 in the NBA, does he at all on Cal? Yes, he's 'only' 6'7", but I don't care, especially if he plays 'taller'. Others have played PF at similar heights successfully.
But how terrible would it be to trot out a line-up with Bledsoe at PG, Len at C, and Bogdanovic/Warren/Brown sandwiched in between? Bog can play, as you mentioned, the 2/3, Warren can play the 3/4, so Brown can play the 3; if he can play a bit of the 4 in a pinch from time to time, the versatility would be certainly be useful.

Where's Booker in all this?
Oh, he's there, I was just making specific mention of Bogdan, since his name was brought up. In fact, more likely that Booker maintains playing time over Bogdan, since he'll have more NBA experience. And who knows, Bogdan not being here yet may result in him being moved. Let's face it, Bogdan is essentially a late 1st-ish draft pick equivalent; think like, Senior draft prospect, but with likely, more 'useful' experience.
In fact, no reason to think that Booker couldn't slide to the 3 from time to time in the future, once he grows into his body some more. 6'6" 220 (in 2-3 years, of course, after becoming more of an 'adult' and putting on 10-15 lbs), that size isn't unheard of at the 3. His problem would likely be length, but let's face it, he gained 2" in length and 2.5" in standing reach in 8 months between when he was measured at UK, and the draft Combine, so it wouldn't be a stretch to say he is still growing some, since the Combine measurements were when he was 18.5 YO. He may actually end up closer to 6'7" with 6'10ish Wingspan and 8'8" Reach when it's all said and done, and considering he was never an elite athlete anyway, maybe he'd be better defending the 3 than 2. Thoughts?

I think Bogdan's going to play a lot of 3 for us. You never quite know how guys will adjust coming over from Europe, but he's got a 6'11" wingspan and shoots it well from 3. He has the potential to be a monster 3 point shooter and defender for us, with a little bit of playmaking skills off the pick and roll. It's actually kind of funny because his #1 criticism is being a little too selfish on the PnR, so everyone here will probably hate him regardless.
I think at the end of the day we'll see a guard moved, Booker as the starting 2, and Bogdan backing up the 2 and the 3.

Skal moves so awkwardly on the court, his forehead is approaching Sheldon Williams levels too.

Bender's the riskiest of the top picks imo. His playing style would be a fit, but his shot needs a lot of work. His game overall needs a lot of polish. I'd still put him at 4 behind Simmons, Ingram, and Dunn personally, even though as a PF he's a better fit for us than Dunn.

He scares the crap out of me. He needs to improve a lot by the end of the year for me to be okay with the Suns taking him.

Simmons only played for 9 minutes in the first half after scoring a bucket and picking 2 quick fouls. LSU is still up by 10.
