It's certainly possible. Luckily we have literally the toughest strength of schedule in basketball.

I would say that's based off of last season's results, but the West as a whole got better anyways, so it's probably tougher...
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Based on last year's results or this year's projected results, either way we'd be end up having what people consider the toughest schedule, because we were, and are expected to be, the worst team in the west. So we're the only team who doesn't get to play the expected (or last year's) worst team in the west 3-4 times. In the NBA SOS will pretty much always be in reverse order of expected (or last year's) record, at least for each conference, with some possible slight variation depending on which teams you play 3 and 4 times.

Vegas has our o/u set at 25.5. Sacramento is 30.5 and LAL is 32.5. That's quite a bit of variation. Here are their playoff seedings by o/u.

West
1) Golden State
2) Houston
3) San Antonio
4) Oklahoma City
5) Minnesota
6) Denver
7) Los Angeles Clippers
8) New Orleans
8) Portland
8) Memphis
(Last three teams all listed at 40 ½ wins)

East
1) Cleveland
2) Boston
3) Toronto
4) Washington
5) Milwaukee
6) Miami
7/8) Charlotte
7/8) Philadelphia
7/8) Detroit
(Last three teams all listed at 40 ½ wins)

The worst 5 teams are amongst the worst rosters I've seen - Atlanta, Sacramento, Chicago, Brooklyn, New York.

It's going to be hard to get a top 5 pick if that's the goal.

Our schedule is tougher than all of those teams though. Also, Atlanta is very well run. I don't think they'll be that bad given they are in the east, have Budenholzer, and solid vets like Bazemore and Schroder.

I think Chicago will be real bad. Brooklyn wasn't all that bad last year when entirely healthy. Sacramento added George Hill and Zebo, plus Fox. I could see us finishing anywhere from 3-5 at the end. I would actually say Indiana and Chicago are the 2 that are likely to be worse than us. I don't think the rest of the east will win less than us given the difficulty of their schedules versus ours.

10 man rotation players with 4 years experience +

Chicago 2
Phoenix 2
Sacramento 3
Lakers 3
Brooklyn 4
Atlanta 6
New York 6
Indiana 6
Orlando 6

Wonder if results will show a correlation as experience is one of the biggest factors in the NBA.

That's the good thing about there being so many bad teams in the east. They all have much easier schedules than we do.

This thread is back on!

Let's hope Bagley can pass some online tests.

Mo Bamba looked special with his all-round skills in practice games in Australia.

Bamba is a cross between Noel and Gobert. Best of both.

More like Larry Bird-lite :) but yeah, he could be a really nice player. A better Manu maybe also a good comp.

Saw that game. Dragic was doing whatever he wanted out there and really was the reason Slovenia won. Doncic I thought looked good too. He lacked quickness and strength, especially on D, but that's to be expected I suppose. His shot and body control is superb, but wasn't able to show all that much as I though his team was holding him back as he was just too fast for them.
Saw Finland's game too - have to say Markkanen was just terrific. I think he'll be better next year than people think. Also, we should just forget Len and sign Shermadini. I know he's 28, but he's tough, fast and has that Dirk one step fade away down to perfection.

My favourite prospects are Bamba and Williams as defensive monsters with 7'5+ wingspans to pair with Jackson to patrol the paint and perimeter.

Thin at the top, lmao you're crazy
