With Ball, it might be a little early, but I needed a PG (assists) and he was the most "fun" one left. You know he'll have the ball in his hands and be given ample opportunity.

I think he has a chance to score between 14-16 points, 8-9 assists, 6-7 rebounds, hit 1.5 3's a game and average 1.5 steals. If he does that I'll be pretty happy.

You think a rookie will get close to averaging a triple doue with 1.5 steals?

I think you're probably my closer to 9-10 , 5assists and 4 rebounds with 1-1.5 threes

Agree to disagree, we'll see. If you're right then I probably won't be winning anything in this league.

Dont get me wrong, I think Ball is capable of great numbers. I just dont think he will do it his rookie season. I mean those numbers you proposed are up there with/ better than guys like Lebron and Rose their rookie seasons which isn't too common.

Yeah I mean it's a risk for sure.

Fwiw in summer league he put up 16.3 points, 9.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1 block per game. And idk how much we can take out of that, but personally I think he's even better suited for the regular season where you get to play with better players, and there's proper spacing and offense being run.

He's going to play heavy minutes, and have the ball a ton. What he does with it we'll see...

Summer league is a joke, everyone is trying to put #s up to get signed. Defense doesn't exist. And even with nobody guarding him his %s were terrible..when he has to actually playing against legit NBA level talent you think he will do better?

I mean I get why there's hype for him, he could be a great player. And could very well give decent counting stats. His %s are going to be a killer for sure. Definitely a risky pick, think there were better options. But not my team
