Feel like some of these guys aren't used to getting the ball in certain spots so they try to overcompensate by attempting really tough contested shots.

Payton wasting no time with his new team. It just looks right.

He really wasn't a problem for us. He was just a lightning rod for criticism. He's capable of doing this every night, but he doesn't. He can get to the basket anytime he wants to, but his confidence will wane if he makes a couple mistakes. He won't trust his shot if he misses a couple in a row.

The number of us that have started watching Suns games and that are showing up in your game threads should speak volumes about how much we think of Elfrid, but for every one of us that defended him to the last, it seemed as though there were several people that would blame Payton for anything that went wrong.

You guys got a quality PG for next to nothing.

TJ and JJ are slashers. Chandler just clogs it up for their skill set until they can add the three point shot to their repertoire

But then the defense is abysmal.

Not sure if you noticed but its abysmal no matter what, Bender is just a good a defender as Chandler at this point in his Career.

Overall he's probably a bit better, but not at protecting the paint n toughness. Plus then you're putting Chris at pf, n he just fouls n sulks, n makes dumb plays most of the time. N if Warren is at pf instead, oh boy.

If this is Elfrid Payton....I’ll take him
and the number 5-7 over no PG and 3-5 pick.

Not sure what is going on at the PF position with whatever O we are running but something is up. Bender has not been good when at he PF position, Chriss has not been good at the PF position, but when Bender gets minutes at C he plays tough and the team plays better. Triano's starting lineup and rotations tonight are pissing me off.

I agree with this. I don't understand why we didn't bring Chandler off the bench this game. Clearly, Bender plays better at the center position and his spacing allows TJ and JJ to slash to the rim.

You will come to love Eddie.

We always get compliments from other teams when they are forced to watch the Suns feed. Very knowledgeable and very un-homerific.

He will also ramble sometimes and say ridiculous things like (after JJ had an airball) "It wasn't Jackson's job to make the shot there...it was his job to hit the rim so Chandler could get the rebound."

This is Elf Lord Payton but I think he honestly would prefer to have 12 points and 10 assists right now rather than 3 and 20.

Because that hurts the tank. Gotta be gentle with it

How many do you usually have?
Since we have been bad magic threads can get around 12. When we had Dwight we would have 50 pagers.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

It's true. Too many non shooters. And at the defensive end they are significantly slower to rotate and react.

I hope that after the break, and with the return if Booker, that Triano goes "small" with Payton, Booker, Jackson, Warren, and Bender as the starting line up. Have Uliss Daniels, Chriss, and Len run the second team. Chandler and Duds can cheer lead for the most part.

I can see the appeal of bamba on this team to clean up the defensive mistakes from the rest of our team.

Didn't Heat/(another team) on here hold joint game threads once? Feel like we should try to do that for our next game.. think our fans would get along for the most part and it would be a pretty active thread.
