If AD plays, That's fine! We just keep to the gameplan! We put IMMENSE PRESSURE ON DAVIS's movement. Make him regret playing, By setting a ton of really hard screens, Cuts, and flares! Force him to really move laterally! Let's see how his groin holds up! CLOG THE PAINT!!! Hard fouls! ( They're going to call a ton of fouls on us anyways)! Make them count!

Set hard picks and drop to the rim hard! MAKE DAVIS'S RECOVERY VERY DIFFICULT! ABOVE ALL ELSE, PUSH THE PACE! Davis and the rest of there bigs can't keep up with us for a full 48! And Davis especially won't be able to maintain his effort without a tremendous risk of reaggravating his injury to a far worse degree! We counter their size with our speed and versatile wings! Get in a rythym and shoot them.out of the building!!!

*** Davis WILL NOT be able to consistently recover laterally at our pace! RUN! RUN! RUN! :box:

Liam_Gallagher: "Sucks for Phoenix Vogel finally figured out the rotation."

Only took them 6 games to insert Gasol over Drummond. They sure did figure things out.

It helps us IMMENSELY if he stays. But no guarantee that he stays.

How do you guys figure we can afford him even at a slight discount if we have to pay Ayton and Bridges? Them plus Booker have to be the big 3 we invest in.

Is it a matter of whether Sarver will pay luxury tax?

Sarver has said he'll pay it. We have a championship window if CP3 stays.
CP3, Book, Bridges, Crowder, Ayton, Payne, Johnson and Craig are an amazing top 8 players. We do have some holes to fill at the end of the bench, 2 guard, and 5. But saving 12 million, would go a long way to making it easier to stomach. That 12 million probably covers over 50% of what Bridges will make.

Money savings next year doesn't matter. It's the following year. That's why I was hoping he picked up his option while Ayton and Bridges are on their rookie deals next year and then took a reduction the following two years (like $27.5m per for 2, maybe declining) rather than like an even deal over 3 years. Though he could do something like $35/$33/$31 or something.

Ayton and Bridges will probably make around a combined $50 million a year (to start) in 2 years and Paul and Book if Paul signs and extension would be a combined $70 million. That's $120 million and probably already over the cap before adding on Crowder, Saric (both of those guys would be in last years), both Cam's (CamJo's new contract would be in Paul's last year). If we kept Crowder, Saric and both Cams', that's like $150-$160 million for 8 players before the rest of the guys that would have to be near minimums except Smith's rookie deal.

This year the hard cap is like $138 million so it's not just about the tax, we would likely hit the hard cap at some point.

Right after I posted that. I'm okay with Nuggets in the next round. Lillard scares me. (He should also leave Portland and join the Suns, duh)

Jokic is probably my favorite player not on the suns. Dude just doesnt look like he should be able to do what he does. He plays the way I envision the elder sabonis would have played if he came over earlier and wasnt crippled prior to arriving.

What a monumental collapse by the Blazers. See you soon, Joker.

Congrats to the Nuggets in advancing to semis. Without Murray, they still managed to defeat a very good Blazers team. Jokic, Porter, Campazzo, and Murray will be a handful for many years to come.

I'm confused how someone as brittle as day to davis recovered so quickly from that injury while also nursing existing injuries. They just have him on pain killers or something?

Not like the NBA would test him for anything...

Gotta remember Lebron is still feeling it out. He’ll bring his all in Game 7.

Return to Phoenix Suns
