I'm surprised KJ hasn't called Goran, and try and sell Sac to the Drag.

Whoa....I know KJ is the mayor and all....but he should be calling Goran and telling him he's the next great PG of the Phoenix Suns. KJ, Kidd, (Marbury?), Nash....Dragic.

Maybe he did call a Suns pg and tell him that, but maybe it was Bledsoe? :D

KJ is all about Sac right now. If he calls Goran, it will be to come to Sac.

Kings were offering Stauskas and a 1st but Dragic doesn't want to re-sign with them...

I think Dragic and Calderon make similar money so there wouldn't be much of an exception would there?

I thought about Calderon and his passing ability and shooting is why I'd actually consider it, howvever, we still need to develop our young guys. So who knows.

Trading one guard for TWO mediocre guards on long term contracts is not exactly what the Suns are looking for.

Uh like replacing Amare with Childress, Warrick, and Turkoglu

Might have worked if we started Warrick, and brought Turk off the bench. Childress was used terribly. Gentry had him standing at the three point line at all times, when he was absolutely zero threat from there. If Childress was used as a slasher the whole time, I think we could have seen numbers like he had in ATL.

What a bummer. The Knicks can't give us their pick. None of their players are appealing. The Heat don't have much either as Whiteside can't be traded. This really sucks.

Knicks could give their 2018 1st round pick.
But Jackson is unwilling to.

If it comes down to it, I believe Phil will agree to a pick swap.

With Goran, its about making the best of a tough decision, so from the KNicks, you may not get players, but maybe you can dump some bad contracts on them - Isiah Thomas perhaps? So, what about his trade

Goran, Plumlee and Thomas for Hardaway, Bargnani and Jason Smith. You get Hardaway and cap space for this summer by offloading almost $10m of plumlee and Thomas. That is if you cannot find a better team forThomas. So don't discount the Knicks but use Dolans wallet to your benefit.

Granted, I would rather get value for Thomas or Dragic and just not cap space

From Miami -- all they have is Deng - so for me it would be , hell nothing from Miami

I prefer the Knicks to offload Thomas over Miami. Unless you can get a better deal Thomas

But both IT and the Dragon must

As much as I love Goran, killing our leverage by telling teams he wont resign is an incredibly Bitchy move.

Did anyone else have a weird dream where you were walking down a dark alley with a crowbar in hand when you stumbled upon agent Billy Duffy? No? Okay.

Dont see the Knicks shedding Calderon's salary and taking on IT's.
Their goal is to maximize cap space.
Wouldnt make sense to do so if they could just sign Dragic in offseason

It doesn't seem a bad deal for Sac,even if Goran's agent say he won't sign there. I could see them throwing in Jason Thompson, and protecting that first as well. But that would mean we would have to waive or trade one of our players for a two for one.

At this point i'd be happy with ditching all the boneheadedness and getting some heady vets, even if we only get 50 on the dollar. We need to fix the culture first an foremost, especially before we commit to developing youth.

Thomas, Tucker and Goodwin
To MIA for
Deng, McRoberts and Cole

Cole to Was for a pick

The pick to ORL for Nicholson

Morrii and Plumlee
To NOH for
Anderson and filler (gives them a great bench)

Goran, Ennis
Bledsoe, Green, Zoran
Deng, Warren
Anderson, Nicholson (McRoberts)
Len, Wright

+2 picks in the upcoming draft and Bogdan. Good mix of heady vets and not too much youth.

Edit: even if the Dragii bolt at season's end, we have a healthy culture, Bled moves to the point and Bogdan takes the SG mins. With our picks we take a future SF to replace Deng and a C to develop behind Len and Wright.

I am sure that if McD needs to trade the likes of Bullock and Plumlee for future assets, he will.

The only thing preventing me from hating on Goran is my inkling that this was heavily orchestrated by his agent.

I would laugh so hard if we packaged Goran and Thomas to the same team. I wouldn't even care what we got back, just to be like "Goran, you said you wanted to play for the Knicks....you also said we should trade IT....you never said we shouldn't ALSO trade him to the Knicks....just trying to be accommodating!"

Not sure about that any more. The prolonged failure to make trades and clear time for youngs has got me confused about the direction of this franchise.
