It's literally ridiculous. He's never stated a positive thing about them from what I've seen. Even when they nearly made the playoffs 2 years ago when expectations were to finish dead last. His past employment at the Suns clearly has left a giant chip on his shoulder.

Well to be fair, sarver, blanks, Lindsey Hunter, etc have put a bad taste in a lot of people minds. It's gonna take a great signing (LMA) to remove the negative sigma around the Suns.

Right, but he has a personal issue with the FO because he worked for the Suns and then no longer worked there and that wasn't his decision. And now he uses his new platform to bash them without ever disclosing his bias or history. I have a problem with that.

And I agree he totally has a personal issue with the Suns. It's VERY true and what's worse is it's obvious.

I've done the same, and thought, "no matter what I think of this guy, almost every movie he is in , is top notch" A Few Good Men, Collateral, Rain Man, The Last Samurai and Jerry McQuire are all extremely too notch movies in my book, and most of the others are up there too.

Have you seen the Color of Money? Scorsese, Newman and Cruise >>>

I think the only one on that list I didn't see was Interview With A Vampire.

I think a tweet from Stat or Nash would really help here.

Before it was reported that he was very engaged in the meeting I had no hopes in getting him and fully expected him to go elsewhere.

Now, we need him. I will actually be extremely disappointed if we don't get him now because there are only 2 big name free agents next year that would fit. Durant and Westbrook. We have no chance in getting either of them. The year after that the only good free agents are Blake Griffin and Serge Ibaka. I doubt Blake leaves LA and Serge Ibaka is extremely overrated. Nowhere near as good as LMA and won't make us contenders.

We need this now. I know a lot can happen in the next 2 years but i don't see how we can become contenders. I don't want to wait 5 years to be contenders. If we aren't legit in 3 years I will be very unhappy.

Yikes, I don't like our odds if we do indeed get turned down for another meeting. However, if we manage to get him out to Phoenix over the holiday weekend we absolutely must close. Do what Denver did to us with McDyess.

I'm pretty sure Westbrook isn't until 2017 but i don't think either one of them are going anywhere.

There's a reason Pop asked for the second meeting. Somebody upthread asked why we need a second meeting:

It is unbelievable. I'm sure you've seen my tweets to him. I almost responded to his last one listing three teams but I decided to stop. He simply sucks and I can't believe he is a writer on a big place like ESPN.

Dude is a tool and a half. Plus it's pretty obvious he cant read properly either.. Either that or hes just blinded by pure sodium chloride.
