Too bad. This actually might move Jackson to the top pick. NBAdraft.net has already moved him there.

Good hire for the Hoosiers. Indiana is an elite job with the right coach.
Sounds like Trier is 50/50 depending on receiving a first rd grade. Still hearing Kobi made up his mind to go pro before stepping foot on campus even though he's nowhere close to being ready. We will see.
I think it's a great hire as well.
So what will our lineup look like next year under both circumstances? I feel like come tourney time, the more experienced juniors and seniors who can hit shots and play some crunch time helps.
But of course they easily could have won that game if everyone wasn't scared to take that last shot.
Best realistic case:
PJC/Barcello
Trier/Randolph
Alkins/Pinder
Ayton/Pinder/Lee
Comanche/Ristic

They still have Ball second after ydays game. Not a very credible site I think, they just started at the right time with a good name.
*edit: but I'd be as happy as a pig in **** if we took Fultz at 3!

I think Alkins will play a major part with another year. Losing Allen and his leadership will hurt. But PJC has experience now and can somewhat be a leader. With Alkins and those bigs, I feel pretty good. I'd love to see Trier back, as I think he can really raise his stock next year and go mid first round or higher.

I like our chances to win the conference again. UCLA is potentially losing all five starters. Rooting for Oregon and Brooks today so he goes pro.
Lots of great coaches get exposed in single-elimination games. Coach K lost to a 14 and 15 seed the last 5 years and just lost to a 7-seed with 8 McDonald's all American. Still a big believer in Sean Miller.

Oh, I'm a big believer as well. I think he's about as good as anyone out there. I thought of all the times Duke got upset as well. That Oregon/Kansas game should be great.

Jackson 0 points, 3 turnovers, 0-3 with 15 minutes to go.
I've tried to find better players than Ball and Jackson throughout the season as to me they project as role players (elite ones) rather than no.1 or no.2 options.
I think Tatum and Fox could leap over them for that reason.

Re: College basketball and 2017 draft
Whats everyones top 5 right now?
Mines
1. Fulz
2. Jackson
3. Fox
4. Tatum
5. Ball
I think out of all the PGs Fox's skillset compliments Bookers the best for a future backcourt. Fultz is just ridiculously talented that you can't pass him up.

My top 7: Fultz, Tatum, Jackson, Fox, Smith, Ball, Isaac
I have been back and forth on Jackson, some games he looks like he can be a top offensive player like vs Michigan State, other games he looks limited like vs Oregan, so depends how you project his scoring ability at NBA.
People have downgraded Ball based on his no-show and Jackson is playing worse right now.

I want nothing to do with another combo guard from kentucky. These are not guys we need on our team.

Jackson having an impact in the 2nd half: 10 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists.
But doesn't look like a go to scorer either no.1 or no.2 option.

I don't think we need a scorer with Booker, Warren and even Chriss. Jackson is an amazing defensive player and we need that IMO. Also he is not Tony Allen type offensively.

Depends if you're building around Booker or drafting highest ceiling.
Jackson is the best fit as a no.3 Draymond Green type, others have a higher ceiling but require a leap of faith.

Foul trouble in the first half and he's the third option on that team. All the other things he did out there. Never quit on his team. Competitor the whole game.

Re: College basketball and 2017 draft
Finished as the usual Josh Jackson all-sorts:
Good: 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 3-6 from two, 4-6 FT
Bad: 10 points, 5 turnovers, 0-2 from three
I think with our franchise now being built around Booker, we'd be happy with a complimentary star in Jackson, rather than pure highest ceiling, and it'd avoid Bledsoe being traded for below value.

Remember when Tyler Dorsey committed to Arizona? This has been a pretty brutal few days.

I don't think we'll pass Jackson if he's available when we pick.

My top 5 is Jackson, Ball, Tatum, Markkanen, and Fultz.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
