Yeah, that Jrue Holiday (all star) trade for today's version of Andrew Bogut was a GREAT trade!

So my guess is we already have a trade in place for Tucker, there's too many playoff teams interested not to be. Toronto, Spurs, Boston.. clearly hes coveted.

I know BK wants out but his value is so low right now IMO, it would be a seriously bad decision on Ryan's part to trade him for 2nd rounders. It's nice for him to admit his blunders but this isn't the time. Ulis can wait.

Thankfully he's on my dynasty team :)

Assume that means Butler is coming our way. Fine, Butler for Knight. But I'm not overly excited. :nonono:

I disagree even though that was my first thought too. They knew they didn't wanna extend him in the off-season no matter what so now they got some assets out of it before they let him walk for nothing.
And who knows what the protections on the pick look like in the following years. Bogut can be flipped too.
I wouldn't mind it at all as a Philly fan.

Yeah, makes sense. I like Justin Anderson.

McDonough would be a miracle worker if he can turn PJ into a late 1st rounder, much less a solid one. Here's to hoping though

I wonder what would even be the return from the Bulls if we sent them Knight? Rondo seems likely and I doubt we'd keep him, but outside of that I'm not too sure?

I get this line of thinking and it's easy to look at the drafts in hindsight and say Phily should have taken player X instead of player Y but I think the reason they went with the 4-5 year tank "process" is they looked at the odds of top 5 picks panning out and realized that not all of them will so by doing it multiple years the hope was really that 2 or 3 of the 5 or 6 guys pan out. Where as if you try to quick rebuild chances are you only land maybe 1 or even 0 guys that make a difference. If Embiid and Simmons or their pick this year are awesome their "process" will have worked.

The real dumb move they made was taking MCW late lotto instead of Giannis or even Schroeder. They knew they were starting a long rebuild so why not take a shot at the younger high upside guys instead of a 20 something MCW. Now they remedied that by getting the Lakers pick in that tragic Suns and Bucks deal.

good job man. great stuff.

Or you could say that we traded an old, broken down Steve Nash with back problems for an expiring contract and a 2nd rounder.

I wonder if Bogut would go back to GSW if he's bought out.

Philadelphia is working to find another team to acquire Bogut, but if a deal isn’t reached, the team is expected to negotiate a contract buyout with Bogut so he can become an unrestricted free agent, league sources said.

Trading Noel, 22, likely means the 76ers will retain Jahlil Okafor to play alongside cornerstone Joel Embiid.

My sources (Josh from the ESPN message boards) tells me ( that would be me talking to myself) that if rondo came back as apart of a BK swap the suns would immediately wave him.
