I'll take the under on that wager. If Ayton can ever put together a 20/10/2 season with the second best True Shooting % in the league all while stroking anywhere near 42.1 % from three on close to 4 attempts from deep a game with a 4.21 RPM I'll eat my socks. He could be even worse on the other end than KAT so its no foregone conclusion.

The issue is Wolves will ask for more than Pick 1 and May gut the Suns asset trunk

Wolves would be downgrading or at best making a lateral move. Of course they are going to ask for the moon, anyone would in their position they have all the leverage.

Hmmm.....so a former 16 year NBA Veteran, World Champion. Former NBA head coach and current head coach of the University of Alabam, Avery Johnson said Ayton is David Robinson with a jumper per Burns and Gambo.

What does Avery know? He only played 9 seasons with David Robinson and watched Ayton live once against his team...... must be like Ayton’s coach trying to get Ayton drafted and make himself look good. Wouldn’t trust what he says, because he sounds just like Ayton’s former coach and Jay Williams and Charles Barkley and Jay Bilas...those guys know nothing.

Suns' inclination to appease their star players by acquiring their friends and siblings regardless of their talent level has created nothing but disaster for us. It limits roster moves we can make because the stars always get upset when their less talented bestfriends or siblings don't get playing time, don't get an extension or get traded. Why plant potential beef in the future again by reuniting Booker with his buddy Town. Suns never learn, remember how Dragic's beef with us started from us signing his brother from Europe but not giving him minutes. I didn't like it when the Suns signed Uils because when the unfortunate time come that Suns need to let Uils go it will inevitably upset Booker. mixing family/friendship into professionalism never ends well.

David Robinson was a defensive NBA great. If Avery says the difference is an Ayton jumper ...court is adjourned for me.

For those who think putting out a lineup with 3 wings, please recall how bad the Nash/JRich/Hedo/Warrick/Frye(Rlo) lineup was and reconsider your position.

For those who think putting out a lineup with 3 wings, please recall how amazing the Curry/Thompson/Iggy/Durant/Green lineup is and solidify your opinion.

It's all about personnel.

Curry/Thompson/Iggy/Green/Bogut was even better. They dominated the league just fine even before adding the cheat code Durant. Curry/Thompson/Durant are transcendent shooters and great defenders. Doncic shoots 31% at euro 3pt line while declining every year, JJ's shot is still a big question mark, and both Doncic and Booker are below average defenders. don't try to out GS the GS when you don't have the personnel. Chasing the hottest thing in the league got us into trouble all the time, we drafted Bender because we tried to chase the next Porziņģis instead of picking the safe and obvious pick Murray or Hield.

I was high on Anthony Randolph? I honestly can't even remember.

Randolph was MY guy...Always drafted him in fantasy with my last pick, took him in that 'build-a-team' thing we did once, then every trade deadline/free agency I wanted him.

It will be inscribed on my tombstone "Anthony Randolph Has Upside"

With that said Robinson did have a devastating baseline jumper too. He's my favorite player of all time next to Charles and all my old posters of him have him with that jump pose... Along with his double handed cocked back dunks.

Robinson's biggest advantage over Ayton is shot blocking and steals ability... With a broken back Admiral was still amongst the leagues elite back in 1999 to 2003

The interview process will sort it out.

Suns will draft a player that is not content once he's signed a contract... They WANT someone to be a potential HOF. someone who will keep improving and be hungry.

Booker and Jackson has shown that.... So they know how to gauge that hunger from interviews..

Not sure what happened to Bender or Chriss thougb

He was my #1 in that draft and I was high on McCollum too. Len ... what a waste of a five pick. Still makes me leery of moving Chriss and Bender unless it is a package for a star player.

Than you will want to read the following two articles:
http://www.espn.com.au/nba/story/_/id/20729156/eurobasket-2017-final-anthony-randolph-potential-nba-fit

https://www.eurohoops.net/en/euroleague/679544/anthony-randolph-praises-igor-kokoskov-he-do-an-amazing-job-in-phoenix/

They love each other, I wouldn't be too surprised if Kokoškov brought Randolph to Phoenix

I’m sure the Mavs would promise Doncic at #5 and he would provide them as well as Phoenix if they could get to 3-4. The lowest he’d go is #5 so it’s not a significant drop in salary.

He's being selective with his medicals to finesse his way to a team he wants to go to. I'm PRETTY confident the Suns are getting a nice vanilla folder with his medicals.

Your not picking because of your Biased against big men.

Robinson's talent around him led to Sean Elliot being his best side kick.

And he usually lost to Suns with better talent and The Rockets with Hakeem the dream and his better cast.... And both of those teams best players were BIG men in a sense and better talent.

So again.. Having a small versatile team doesn't mean they will win.

Ayton is as talented as Doncic if not his ceiling is even higher....

Talent wins out at the end... Big or small..

You cannot win with a single source of talent... You need 3 all stars... Always has been since the 80s with the Celtics and Lakers.
