I think the answer is simple - we're not.

Brandon Knight is going to be playing basketball for the Phoenix Suns throughout the entirety of his contract.

It's really not that bad. Most teams have a terrible contract right now because no one knew how to deal with the cap blowing up. Brandon is ours. I'd much rather have BKnight than Miles Plumlee/Ian Mahimi/etc. at their respective salaries.

I really think it's just time we make this guy feel comfortable in the Valley. Embrace being our sixth man Brandon - learn from LB.

Boston folded and now Indiana smells blood in the water. Since Ainge knows Boston inst really going anywhere without another star, now ya gotta give up the farm. Finally we can stop having to compete with bostons assets with every trade rumor

Good, keep them sweating until the last minute and fleece them.

I don't believe this guy because the Raps trading for Tyson makes no sense. They're going to have to pay Lowry and Ibaka a ton of money, so they need to shed salary not take in a fairly big contract.

Wouldn't be that hard for them to throw Carroll at us for Chandler if they're also getting PJ back.

Carroll, Sully, Poeltl/Bebe, 1st rounder

Chandler, Tucker

Maybe they want to get rid of JV in the process. If I remember correctly, they hardly utilize him in the 4th quarter because of his defensive deficiencies, so they could be looking for a more defensive closeout group to finish games.

The Noel pick is top 18 protected? No way it could convey this year if it is Dallas' own pick.

I'd do that deal.

Any trades involving us won't go down until the final 15 minutes. It's a McAuction. That's the McDonough way.

I haven't gone there yet, but the most active trade board mod is a big sixers fan who was always talking about how much they could/would get for Noel, so I'm sure there are some interesting discussions over there.

I'm' sure it's only top 10-12 protected for next year. The Mavs have cap room this summer. They could spend it very wisely if they wait to resign Noel to his likely 20mil contract.

I think Philly wants to ensure they get a high pick in this draft. Seems they waited a year too long to trade Noel though.
