We probably are working something around Millsap for Knight and Chandler. That would be a OK trade.

It would be an upgrade, and we need to spend money this season. We can always trade him after the first season with us.

Bledsoe/Ulis
Booker/Jackson
Warren/Jackson
Millsap/Bender
Chriss/Bender

Those 8 players can be our core for the next few years, with some minutes from Reed, Dudley and Len or Williams.
I like it, looks solid.

I would rather overpay Millsap than give Len a new contract. Williams might be gone.

Chandler/Dudley become expirings next season.

Can't properly explain but I'm guessing it's Warren & Knight

For the Sarver 2020 plan:

Warren 26 @ $15m
Millsap 35 @ $30m

Warren not even close.

I am pretty sure that we do not trade Warren for Millsap.

Just veteran guys like Dudley, Knight or Chandler.

Things have been surprisingly quiet regarding Paul Millsap.

Are we better than Utah if Hayward leaves?

Meetings with Miami, Boston this weekend.

I know Warren makes no sense, but isn't Atlanta rebuilding?

Not sure who this guy is, but he says Millsap wants to play in Minnesota.

no one mentioned him but me ...and I can't explain well, other than he's maybe the only player the Hawks will accept in order to absorb Knight.

WOW. If we lose Warren then that would be a terrible deal. Any chance we are targeting Porter?

Just heard he didn't get a contract from the Wizards. They just told him they would match any offer.

I'm hoping the Suns can keep: Booker, Bledsoe, Chriss, Warren, Bender, Jackson, Ulis, Reed, and the Suns own Picks - if there's a SnT for Paul Millsap!! Miami Picks (IMO) wouldn't be a big deal Trading and I'd prefer to keep Jones (maybe Peters??), and Elijah Millsap but losing - Miami Pick(s), Chandler, Knight, Dudley, Barbosa, and/or losing one of Len or Williams and I'm game!!

I'm also probably the only fan that'd prefer keeping Len over Williams!! So many undersized, burly F/C that fell off cliff: Sullinger, Caracter, Harangody, D Blair, Brockman, Dorsey, May, Maxiell, Diogu, Kleiza, Sweetney, Fizer, etc. after so many years??

technically it could just be a S&T for an exception alone, like the Knicks did for Amare back in 2010. Unless the new CBA forbids such. I don't think the Suns would need to send anyone (or picks) to clear room if Barbosa gets waived and Suns retract the QO on Len. That's much better than absorbing bad contracts, but even then Atlanta has no reason to gift us like that; surely they would demand a pick or two.

Alexis Tex- I mean Jared Sullinger has weight problems, as did Mike Sweetney, while Williams has sculpted his body into NBA form over the past couple summers.

Caracter/Harangody/Brockman/Dorsey are not NBA players

Sean May had some devastating injuries early in his career.

Linas Kleiza wasn't bad. He really isn't anything like Williams though

besides none of those players have 1/10th the cheerleading skills as Big Sauce, nor are they hometown heroes

Return to Phoenix Suns
