Why? Because a top 5 point guard (which he is when he is allowed to play with the ball), is worth more than the garbage that is being offered. There is a reason Goran will get the max this offseason and it is because multiple teams think he is that good. Do not cash out for cents on the dollar. The franchise is better served trying to rectify the problem and making the next two months a recruiting pitch.
Your attempt to make Goran a martyr is a little comical. You act like he did the suns some huge favor coming back in free agency... dude we paid him more money than anyone else would. Dragic should be thankful the suns believed in him since teams weren't lining up to make him their starting point. And why is everyone forgetting the last time Goran had total run of the point guard spot the suns won 25 **** games.

Players are fickle. Kobe was traded in 2007, until he wasn't. Your point about Goran not winning as a team's starting pg is flawed. No pg, not MVP Steve Nash, could win with a group comprised of Michael Beasley, Shannon Brown, Hamed Haddadi, Wesely Johnson, Jermaine O'Neal, and Luis Scola. Sorry. Not to mention that Drgaic is light years ahead of the player he was then. Dragic was promised a certain role by the front office, and, in a contract year, had that promise broken. He said he was upset, management said they would fix it and they didn't. He hasn't done anything crazy here.
