After incessantly proclaiming to the board DA would never get traded, please tell us again to watch more basketball and how Vogel is still the one that is going to break open the DominAyton.

Now we don’t have too much players available to trade so the best choice is waiting to winter then our FA will be available to trade

One way to get TJ is trade Little and Jordan but it could be doesn’t enough for Indiana

Little might entice Indy more than TJ as he is younger

but I think the Suns are pretty high on Little plus he is on a good contract

My guess, nothing gets done until the deadline - if anything

I do like the idea of Grayson if he can shoot over 40%

If will be that you said that, Indiana agree to Little or Little and Jordan then Jones make trade immediately before they change mind

Beal (35.8%), Booker (35.1%), Durant (40.4%), Bates-Diop (39.4%), Nurkic (36.1%)
Goodwin (32.2%), Gordon (37.1%), Allen (39.9%), Watanabe (44.4%), Eubanks (38.9%)
Lee (44.5%), Okogie (33.5%), Little (36.7%), Bol (26.5%), Metu (23.7%)
Lee (36.7%), Azubuike (NA)

I wouldn't underestimate Saben Lee as an emergency impact player at PG, 3 to 1 assist/turnover ratio, 36% from 3, elite steal %, best attacker to the basket to draw fouls and make layups with all our floor spacing, 6-9 wingspan. On paper he looks better than McConnell.

I think we have legitimately 15-17 guys who can play we're not going to lose games due to depth.

Let's say Durant and Nurkic are out as 2 injury prone guys.

Beal, Booker, Allen, Bates-Diop, Nurkic
Goodwin, Gordon, Watanabe, Little, Eubanks

Still ridiculously strong.

I like how you mapped out our depth chart. I inserted their 2022-23 3FG% just for fun. Pretty impressive overall. I'll try to chill. 8-)

No mention of Allen, possibly just away in off-season or ?

Also remember Vogel talked up Payne and Ayton at his 1st conference, wonder if they were already planning.

Who's in the rotation head to head - Little vs Watanabe?

I would give the edge to Watanabe because of his nice 3p shot and height for position.

I do like that Nurkic will body players and he isn't afraid to battle.

Spoiler:

Anybody that talks stuff to PG will always be a Booker fan

Here is a full game highlights of the Blazers vs Grizzlies in February 2022. You can see that Nurkic is capable of bringing the ball up the court, but you can also see a lot of times where he knows his limitations and when to try to go for block and when to just stay on the ground on defense. I think Nurkic will do a better job of spreading the floor than what Ayton was capable of.
Spoiler:

His personal highlights from that game

Can't stack newly acquired players for, I think, at least a month.
And Lee can't be moved until December.

Gambo replied to somebody on twitter - the Suns are interested in TJ McConnell -he confirmed

I just don't see a trade unless its Little or Grayson

Cannot combine salaries with a guy like Keon and Ish/Goodwin do not make enough

Granted, it would be nice to move Keon + Ish + Goodwin for him but if the deal is official - can't happen

McConnell is a guy who I would love to have off the bench during the season but in the playoffs I’d much rather have Allen, and that’s all that should matter.

If anyone had a doubt that DA wanted out, this should squash it. He would have only ruined his value had he stayed IMO. Nothing we could have done. I really believe Jones knew this. We missed on Sabonis and Turner over the years but it is what it is.

Can we trade Little and Wainright + 2nd for McConnell?

I don’t think we can trade Little along with another player for a few months or something.

There he goes again with the "DominAyton" knucklehead BS again. This kid is fake AF.

I can't tell you how happy I am that the team no longer has to be affected by the looming stench of "Will DA finally put it together". It hovered over the franchise for too long and sucked a lot of energy out of what they were trying to do.

Looks like DA will be #2 with Portland

Ayton shoots like 70% at the rim. Nurkic like 56 or 58%. There is literally nothing on the court that Nurkic does better than Ayton aside from shooting 3s. Even the passing I think it debatable.

There is no upside here. I actually watched a decent amount of Portland games last year and Eubanks is the better player than Nurkic pretty handily.

Insanity.

Ayton's got him in terms of raw athleticism, the midrange, and ability to guard on the perimeter - but outside of that fundamentally Nurkic is a better basketball player. Better footwork. Better passing. Can shoot the three. Neither blocks any shots but Nurkic showed last year based on the analytics he STILL heavily impacts the lane.

It's going to be so refreshing to watch a dude who's two choices aren't jump shot or rub pass to a teammate. Guy can literally initiate / pass into the Suns offense from any spot in half court. This is about as dynamic of an offense the Suns team has ever seen. He also wouldn't let Pat Bev make him his b-.

Btw Ayton won't be shooting 70% at the rim on that Blazer team with a bunch of young dudes who haven't figured out the game. You pretend as if CP3, Book, and Co. had nothing to do with that stat. It's far likely Ayton sees a downtick in that department with Nurkic seeing an uptick.

Is the trade been finalized? If so you are correct, if not then they can expand it and make something like that work.
