In my opinion we are waiting to know that we can not sign LeBron. Then, we will go for these guys.

But the Cavs have been talking to people. Other teams, it seems, are working on their back-up plans. We appear to be focused on Plan A.

Personally am hoping with see "Cleveland in hot pursuit of Parsons/Heyward/anyone else that could get max" before any news on big Suns pursuits...would make me think they're out of Lebron hunt

I've been patient for 4 straight seasons. My patience is done. I'm tired of hearing let's wait it out or wait till next year.

We didn't want to tank so now let's go out and get someone.

Dude we're all impatient. You're making it sound like we're doing something wrong in getting LeBron or another big name FA but it takes 2 to tango. Maybe the players think they can get the same money and situation else where. I'm not saying they would be right in thinking that way but its the players choice on where they will sign.

I am sure we are doing as much as we can but at some point its just out of our hands.

Now if you're talking about getting a superstar in a trade.. that could be our fault. Maybe we aren't willing to part ways with a player or pick the other team wants.

So far he has gotten Josh McRoberts and Danny Granger. I do not see Lebron looking at those players and thinking to himself they are going to get him over the top. Neither one of them compares to Mike Miller or Shane Battier when they were winning championships with the Heat. I would be shocked if those acquisitions convince Lebron to stay. I believe the Suns still have a legitimate shot to sign Lebron.

Those acquisitions do nothing. They originally were going after a pg and center. Now they sign a SF and PF? How are these guys supposed to help LeBron and Bosh?

Agreed! I started to feel a couple days ago that LeBron would be our prize for being a good little team and not tanking. But now, that feeling is gone.

Dream scenario that'll never happen: McD says to LeBron, "watch this, you mo-fo." He then goes on to turn Goran and Markieff into Paul George AND Kevin Love. LeBron sees the magic McD is working, ****** in his pants, and decides he'll sign with PHX. We then run with a lineup of Bledsoe/George/James/Love/Plumlee.

It probably wasn't, even the prospect of playing with Lebron can get you somewhere.

If we traded Dragic for Rondo, I will be pissed, unless we have something else cooking to get amazing value out of a Bledso trade also. If it goes like it looks like it will, I hope we stay mostly intact, look to spend at the trade deadline or next year.

Were you not happy with last season?

Did we make the playoffs? No. Don't give me this crap "well Bledsoe was hurt half the season." We had a chance at the end of the season to get in WITH beldsoe and choked the last 5 games. Don't believe in moral victories.

Bottomline we were not a playoff team. You can convince yourself otherwise but we weren't. Upgrades need to be done. Tucker isn't going to cut it as a starting SF. We have no actual "power " forward. We have good role players in the starting line up right now. I want frye back but he is a role player, nothing more.

I'm sorry if I'm not satisfied with second best. Been following the suns since the late 1980s. Only once have i seen the suns go all in (92). The late 2000s, we had a good team but never tried to make a move to be dominate.

The little fun run we had last year was entertaining but it accomplished nothing. That's why I always say. Go big or go home. And we go home waaaayyy too much.

Nah, I'll leave it alone.

Right now, I think they will play together in Miami. LeBron will have his Max and Bosh can start his contract at 15...with raises every year.
We will see, it is interesting.

Yeah I do not see it. I would imagine that they want McRoberts to play at pf while Bosh starts at center. Then Lebron goes back to small forward. That lineup is only good if Dwayne Wade was the Wade of years ago. He looked so much worse this past postseason that I really think there is nothing they could do to make them good enough to win the championship again. Dwayne Wade would have to have some sort of amazing turnaround and I doubt that will happen. Maybe it could, but I do not think so.

Appearances can be deceiving. Just because the media isn't reporting on it, doesn't mean it's not happening. I think our front office is more tight-lipped than others, which I believe is a good thing. Leaks within an organization are never a good sign. Yes, we still have a few insiders here, but it's nothing like it used to be. Last year, no one really saw any of McDonough's moves coming. The Bledsoe trade came completely out of left field. The Scola and Gortat trades also caught people off-guard. We knew they'd probably be traded, but we really didn't know any specifics until they were officially announced. In this day and age, that's quite rare. I still believe that whatever moves are made this offseason will really surprise people because, once again, we won't see them coming and will be truly surprised.

Pau Gasol?

Nelson, Napier
Wade, Allen
Deng, Granger
Bosh, McRoberts
Gasol, ?

Not bad in the east, if they can afford it.

isn't that the kind of thinking that landed the suns Josh Childress, Warrick, and turkoglu? I'm cool with a patient shoot for stars approach. As I've said before sometimes the best move is having the restraint to pass up crappy moves.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

We have been talking too, in one of the recent Coro's articles he said that we have been in contact with 12 FA (some of them were McRoberts and Granger).
We can not make any move until we know that LeBron can not be signed, especially moves about expensive players like Deng or Hayward.

So are they letting Bosh walk and signing bit parts like McBob, Granger and then trying to get two legit starters like Pau and IThomas for the price of Bosh? Or they won't fit?
