Utah finally gets a real starting PG (Burke/Clark/Murry dont cut it) that can lead a team and young talent in Warren. Utah builds around Dragic/Favors/Gobert

We get a real starting SF. Bledsoe/Tucker/Hayward/Morris/Len

I love Dragic, LOVE Dragic more than any one else on the Suns but this is honestly the one trade in which I would be ok with trading him in.

Hayward makes too much sense for the Suns and fits us perfectly.

You should try posting this in the Jazz forum or even better, the trade forum. See what others thoughts on it are. I'd assume most say that the Suns have to give up more than a 29 year old rental for the young Hayward who is locked up for a while but still, we can hear what more they think we should give up.

Plus, have they given up on Burke?

What is with all these trade suggestions that make zero sense for the trading partner?
UFA Dragic to Utah? What? For Gordon Hayward... their franchise cornerstone and max player.

Seriously, what?

Dragic/warren for Hayward? I'll pass...

I'm not sure that dude is better then parsons who's like a 3rd or 4th option in Dallas. That's a bad deal

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Not sure that you know much about Hayward then. Here are their stats, Hayward averages 19 pts while Parsons is putting up 16 pts per game. Hayward is also much more athletic and better at getting to the rim and defensively.

Hayward is also 2 years younger than Parsons as well...

Hayward is actually younger than Bledsoe as well.

I really like Hayward, he is one of my favorite players in the league, but I want Dragic AND Warren over him. Dragic will sign a new contract this summer and that is all, it is not his last year with the team, we have his bird rights.
Warren is gonna be great, he is a diamond under contract for the next 3-4 years.

Warren is gonna be stuck behind Tucker and Marcus for a long, long time. He will be good but probably not for this team.

This is like not picking Kawhi Leonard because we had Grant Hill and Jared Dudley at the SF spot....if the player is gonna be good you will find minutes for him, sooner or later. Gerald Green plays around 20 minutes per game, if he is gone next season and we don't make bigger changes Warren or Goodwin can play that minutes...I think Warren have the edge.

great article. that is the main reason why i am against having IT, Bledsoe and Dragic on the same team. Taking to much money and no real star post presence. An extreme example: Give Dragic to the Blazers and they will win a championship. Together wit Lillard and a lethal post threat like Aldridge that's a killer team.

huh???

Have you watched Parsons and Hayward?

Hayward last season was good, but inefficient... he was forced to carry the offense too much.

This season, he has been borderline All-Star if not All-star.... only if Jazz was a winning team, but the team is structured incorrectly.

Parsons is a mediocre shot creator, average defender... he is ideal 3rd/4th option as he thrives when the defensive focus is drawin away from him.
Hayward is Jazz's best player and constantly guarded and planned against...last year he struggled, but this year he has adapted to it.
Hayward is better than Parsons in passing, shot creation, play creation, defense.... they are comparable in shooting only.

I like Warren too, but unless the Suns can find a trade to ship off Thomas, Green and Tucker... Warren (along with Ennis and Goodwin) won't get much minutes if any at all.

The trade proposal to bring in Hayward eases the log jam in the PG spot... allows the Suns to lose Green and Tucker without dropping off too much if any at all... as Hayward is a 2 way player with high I.Q.... Green and Tucker consolidated into 1 player... Hayward guards Lebron, Harden etc so he is a reliable defender... who won't jack up contested shots after shots without thinking.... he passes too so Bledsoe can play off ball etc.

C: Len / Plumlee
PF: Morris / Morris / Randolph
SF: Hayward / Morris
SG: Bledsoe / Goodwin
PG: Thomas / Ennis

Is a very well balanced team.

Morris twins + Dragic + 2015 Suns pick for Cousins...

but thats assuming he doesnt mind Isaiah Thomas lol

Len / Cousins front court = Cornerstones!

i bet we'd have to get a third team involved to take Thomas, but id Cousins was on the block other teams would have better offers

For Cousins, I'd would give up Dragic + all of our young assets + picks. Pretty much easily.
This SacTown ship is falling down, this moron named Vivek will make Cousins leave.
We just have to wait for the right opportunity (Cousins/Love)

For Hayward, I think this is a really fair deal, but i'd try to squeeze more from Utah.
I think TJ Warren has a potential to be a stud in this league.

I don't think the FO has any interest in trading for a SF. We have lockdown MotherTucker inked up and kid Warren in the waiting room. Furthermore, I'd rather spend 14 mill on Dragic than Hayward, and keep 'potential stud' Warren (at least until we see for sure what we have in him) If you think about it, having TJ play behind PJ is a perfect set up to groom the kid. We are just pinched with minutes this yr.

I think Green is as good as gone... and its just a question of whether some team wants him this season so much to trade for him. He gets minutes because he contributes, AND its in our best interest for him to play good. I feel for the GGMan, as he is on the contract bubble.

A lot quieter in here these days.... that's what a win streak will do.

Can we play a game against the Blazers already??

Would not trade all of that for Hayward, no way. And I think we find a way and the money to keep Green, if we trade Thomas away. Dont think there is any damn way to get Cousins, even after we got rid of Thomas.

Is K.J. Mcdaniels a Sf. or a Sg.? He is a young talent... not signed for next year (so would be cheap since the Sixers get nothing if he just leaves... witch I hear he hates the F.O, so he is gonna), Streakey shooter (Jeff the guru... go to work), freak athlete... blocks shots and rebounds his posistion well... defends. If we planned on not keeping Tucker long term, and were to give up Warren in some other trade (dont think that will happen mind you), I would love that kid in this system. Dont we still have Mitchell on our roster?? Mitchell and send a second rounder to the king of second round picks (the Sixers have a ton).

somewhat myopic to think Utah would deal Hayward... and equally that we'd part with Dragic. We are fine with our back court/ wingers. Its the Front court i.e. PF and C we need help with. Damn the Log jam, it isn't the worst thing to have.

Disagree ?

In all likelihood we just stand pat for the rest of the season unless we really feel like Dragic will bolt, then we could trade him. Same with Green. I'm not sure how much money we'll have to spend in the offseason, but there will be plenty of big men available.
Player options-
LaMarcus Aldridge
Kevin Love
Roy Hibbert
Brook Lopez
Al Jefferson
Thad Young
Jeff Green
David West

Unrestricted free agents
DeAndre Jordan
Paul Millsap
Marc Gasol
Tyson Chandler
Tim Duncan
Omer Asik
Greg Monroe
Kevin Garnett
Amare Stoudemire
Robin Lopez

My hopes are we trade Tucker/IT for some kind of salary relief so we have a better shot at getting a high quality player in free agency. Also, if we did lose Dragic, Wes Mathews is gonna be a free agent, that guy would be amazing on our team.
