I couldn't tell if he was just joking about the "gag order" , because he put an lol after it. Either way, we most likely won't be hearing anything from him, other than hopes he would have for a trade.

I'd love Hill next to Len actually... solid front court.

That is a possibility. I think they would be searching for their pick back, which I doubt McD would ever do. I don't really see them as a legit trading partner, because we own their pick.

3 team trade based around the Charlotte talks.

Phx out: IT, PJ, and 2nd rd pick
Phx in: Lance and Charlotte's 1st

Char out: Lance, Marvin Williams, 1st and a 2nd
Char in: IT, PJ, AK47

Phi out: AK47
Phi in: Marvin, phx 2nd, Char 2nd.

Lance would be good in a run and gun offense. He attacks the glass and can grab it and go. We take a risk chemistry wise but that's what the 1st is for. Charlotte gets a few more pieces to help push for the playoffs. Plus they rid themselves of Lance and Marvin. Phi absorbs a contract but get 2 2nd round picks for doing so.

With that said I do think the suns are shopping goran. I think it's funny that so many people blame IT for gorans regression. Really gorans numbers this year a pretty similar to what they were with a healthy Bledsoe only gorans not making quite as many shots (and that's just on him). The guy most effected by IT is green; those are the two who can't play together IMO.

Maybe it's the Bucks that is making inquiries and Gery got hold of it.

Maybe its all smoke screen and it's actually Bledsoe or Thomas who are being shopped.
doubt it I think gery is just throwing opinions out there based on logic.

I think the suns realize this year is a wash and I think dragic, green, IT, and plumlee are very available. losing Goran would hurt but it would hurt less to get a 1st rounder for him now than see him walk for nothing this summer.

I don’t like it, I think Lance is a cancer and a bad player.

I can see where people get that from. But I think he'd excel in our offense where it emphasizes free flowing and individual talent. I also think he'd mesh well with the Morri.

Maybe.

Dragic needs to come out and COMMIT to Suns though... his last public comment was that he will give every team a chance at him this off-season... which is disappointing from a Suns FO point of view, but totally understandable from an individual player's point of view,

I'm not going to debate you eye theory.

I agree that if the Suns played with their best efforts from the start of the season, they absolutely would have a great chance of making the playoffs. One game in particular I remember seeing zero effort from the team was against the Rockets in Houston when Houston was totally depleted. The Suns were sleepwalking through the entire game and made an effort to get back in the fourth quarter but it was way too late. They also threw away games early in the season at home against Sacramento, Charlotte, Orlando, Miami, Detroit, and Milwaukee. Those losses were inexcusable. They came out flat and lifeless against those teams. Those losses to me are far worse than the buzzer beating losses against the Clippers and Rockets. I think it is too late for them to make the playoffs now.

Zero chance this happens. We just traded for Mo Williams, once Kemba comes back we'll have three PGs on the roster already.

Also, there is no way Charlotte sends their first away for a player that is not an immediate starter IMO.

but why would Goran do that? Sure he likes the city and franchise but at the end of the day he's got to do what's best for him. If some team offers him more money than the suns he's going to take it. Look at what happened with fry this past summer. He wanted to stay here but that offer from the magic was too good to refuse. It's not like Goran has made a crazy amount of money in salary and endorsements. This is probably his one time to really cash in on a long term contract and no one should fault him for doing so.

I think you could then flip Mo or IT to a team that needs a pg, say Miami? Get McRob back or else flip either of them for a pick.

Neither can be retraded for 60 days, so we couldn't flip them.

This is so much easier to respond to, thank you. I don't think we are out of the race by any means. This team can go on winning runs just like it can losing runs. Injury bug is starting to take affect for many teams around us, and hopefully many of the teams that get nods from the refs, won't going down the stretch.

I don't know why our team waits until the last minute to try and win games, but it is fixable, and with the current roster. If we can have two guys from each squad crashing the boards at all times, we could easily out run teams, and play the way our team should. A stretch big would also help, so we can run a good pick and roll, or pop. Again, many fixable things, that maybe can be addressed once we know who is on the roster. So maybe trade dead line is when we will see.
