Around the NBA

Yeah Kieff looks very bad. He's not even in the paint. Seems like Wittman wants to make him a 3pt shooter only. Doesn't look happy either. Also, they just signed JJ Hickson.

He did have a steal that turned into a dunk over AD tonight. I think he's mostly just still trying to learn how to fit in. He won't know his teammates' tendencies for a while.

Damn, Portland WAS killing Brooklyn, and Brooklyn has made a massive comeback. That's good. As long as we can stay firmly in 3rd, I'll be happy. But this season has become pretty painful. I don't know how Philly fans do it.

If our Washington pick turns out to be an All-Star, McDonough might be approaching Morey like RealGM status.

Lopez is basically keeping Boston out of the no.1 pick.

You'd think Portland's guards will get enough shots to finish it from here.

I can't quite comprehend how becoming the worst team in the league in 2 years with two very expensive avg at best vets eating about $40 million in cap space (along with another one who has had a meniscus injuries/surgeries on both knees for another $14 million) is approaching Morey status.

Morey might be approaching Suns' typical status though, with a good chance at the 13th or 14th pick.

Finishing with 4th worst record still gives you a pretty good chance of winning. 11.9%. 3rd worst is only 15.6%, so not that much difference.

That's a 30% increase. It's a whole damn lot. Don't be fooled by the small numbers, the difference between them is notorious

I'm just saying that neither of us have great chances, but they are certainly not out of the running for the #1 pick by any stretch. No one has GOOD odds of getting it, and it still just comes down to luck.

Former "Suns Player" (one preseason game) Casey Prather just did THIS tonight for my local NBL Team.

Hes a fan favourite here in Perth. Absolute superstar. Love the guy. Him and Nate Jawai are killing it for Perth Wilfdcats.

The fans in Perth is really really good. If you can run, dunk, and score, Perth fans will love you. The Wildcats have been super successful for the last half century, so basketball is bigger than you think here.

2 years ago we had James Ennis play for us, then last season 2nd round pick for Raptors DeAndre Daniels, and this season Casey Prather.

Great to watch!

Amazing that Joe Johnson found a way to screw us again.

First he leaves the amazing 04-05 team we had to go to Atlanta just so he could "be the man."

Now he leaves the Nets...a team we need to get more wins then us so we get a higher pick (Him leaving means they have less talent and will lose more games).

F U Joe Johnson!

It doesn't matter much, considering that we might conceivably break Philly's record 26 game losing streak and not pick up another win the rest of the season. A 2 game lead should be more than enough breathing room. Also Joe is signing with MIami so they are , adding to their collection of former Suns retreads

At least now we have a team that is like the Suns reunion team in Miami. Now they can play a lineup featuring Dragic, Green, JJ and Amare.

A lineup that started Dragic, Green and Amare played really well the other night, and beat the Wizards by 20 (though it was the third game in three nights for the Wizards). Then the next game they beat the Pacers by 8.

A Wizards team that featured Gortat, Dudley and Kieff.
