Woj just said no traction on Ainge trading for Butler/George. Brooklyn picks available but Chicago wants rotational players (i.e. Crowder). Bird wants homerun deal for George which won't be coming from Boston IMO.

Im predicting Boston doesn't land either George or Butler and Phoenix doesn't find a better offer for tucker and takes james young for him right at the deadline.

I think Boston needs to go all-in. No reason for them to acquire Horford if they aren't planning on contending. They should go for George and then try and sign a top free agent.

Ainge doesn't want to part with role players. Boston needs them if they want to compete in the playoffs.

Nope he would be a blind loto ticket but has been buried behind good wings and would be worth giving some minutes to to see if he can play.

Makes me think he won't be paid much because no one wants these traditional centers, so it will be a more value contract than we anticipated.

I think we just need to hold tight until everyone else gives too-big payouts to players that don't deserve it. Once the select themselves out of the free agent market, we can actually offer money to player that deserve it.
