Dudley's true position is small forward. I would much rather him start at small forward and the Suns acquire a veteran power forward for one year while Bender and Chriss develop. Honestly, I would start Bender or Chriss immediately but it sounds like the Suns do not want to do that. So the guy I am looking at is Taj Gibson. He is only signed for one year. He can come in and start for just the 2016-17 season and then the Suns can let him go. Idk what the Suns would give up for him but I would trade Knight for Gibson.
Yeah, I'll be surprised if we start the season with him at PF. I mean in the east it might be different, but in the west you are dealing with all the guys you named. Tucker actually makes more sense on those guys defensively at PF. I think they can work together ok if they are both still here, but with those two as our only vet PFs? And they are not really PFs? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
I'm glad they signed him though simply because I think he will make it a lot more fun for the rookies and everyone. No one on our team had much personality, but he will bring it out in everyone...it seems like most of them love playing for the Suns, but I think he will add a new dimension to that.
