The trade blackout period has officially begun for the next 5 hours until the draft. Everyone calm down for a bit, have a Fresca and a snack.

I'm pretty sure Sam Amick and others who say there has been no calls or whatever probably called someone in Phoenix and that person was told to tell them that information. It would be silly if we didn't do our due diligence.

Yeah screw that, he had his shot to be a Sun, I hope the Spurs are stuck with his stat-padding ass.

@ESPNSteinLine: The Celtics remain in trade pursuit of Kristaps Porzingis, league sources say, trying to assemble a package to meet the Knicks' demands.

Nice. So we'll lose out on porzingis AND josh Jackson. Just like we got ****ed in the rigged lottery we'll get ****ed again. **** THIS

Yep...that's what I'm worried about also. Totally a Suns thing to happen though. If we don't get KP? Okay, I'll be bummed but still excited about the possibility of adding Jackson. If Celtics take Jackson and use him to land KP? :banghead: :banghead:

If I'm the Knicks, I'm asking for Brown, the 3 pick and Brooklyns pick next year.

McD should offer both Bender and Chriss in addition to Bled & #4 that's the only way we can beat Boston's offers.

Phil wants Booker (lol). Not happening.

If the rumors are true, (and I think they've definitely talked seriously about this swap) ...the Booker issue was over long ago. I'm guessing this is much more about Noah's contract and other picks (both ways) beyond the required #4. Courtney Lee might also be an element.

We can afford to eat a bad deal like Noah's, surely, Boston can't. So hope isn't all that lost yet.

2 cents say we're still in it.

Danny values Brown like we do Booker. My hope is 72 year old Phil wants players over future picks. They need a PG.

Boston is 30 million under the cap so that wont be a problem, its just a matter if NY wants to trade him in division.

You're right. I was thinking under the assumption that they're preserving the max for Hayward.

At this point if the Celtics trade 3 (and more) for Porzingis and the Knicks take Jackson, the entire fanbase is going to feel so insanely let down. I mean I know it's not really that bad, we're still getting a top 4 player in the draft, but it will add to that feeling of "what could have been", like with how excited we all got thinking LaMarcus Aldridge was coming here.

Our big advantage over the Celtics right now is our ability to absorb salary. If we can get Porzingis and we have to take on Noah, or even offer to take Carmelo and buy him out, it still gives us a core with Booker and Porzingis going forward which moves the needle I think.

It'll be a problem if they want to sign someone else. Boston can't eat Noah's contract without killing off their financial flexibility. Suns aren't anywhere near contending like Boston is so they can sit on a few bad deals for a couple years without issue.

Wow. I'm rarely around. But today, we are all brothers.

Godspeed Suns, Godspeed McD.
