Lakers:
Paul George

Pacers :
Brandon Knight
TJ Warren

Suns:
Loul Deng
Lakers 2nd overall pick

The Suns are NOT taking on a contract without getting some value out of it. The Suns would now have the 2nd and 4th overall pick..

I'm not saying this is being discussed between the teams. I'm just wanted to make clarify the parameters a deal if it did happen.

Trade Warren/Knight for the #2? I love Warren but that deal :o

EDIT: I would add Bledsoe if that sealed the deal

I dont think thats really winning.

If we were looking at trading our youngsters for already established stars, might as well attempt to unit the superfriends and grab CP3/Wade/Melo and wait to try to sign Lebron in the offseason.

No chance we get anything of significant value if we help facilitate a trade involving George. Since PG will yield very little, I'm sure we'd simply just get late 1st to eat a contract or something.

A. We aren't trading for PG. If they hate the deal then they can let him walk for nothing.
B. Indiana will not get a better offer. I just don't see it happening. Period.

Eh...Kyler insinuated Love a bit latter on, but then even admitted he really doesnt know as he doesnt have taps on the phones.

The question stands, what would we be willing to part with for Love, and i dont know if i would even try.....unless it gives us a better shot at Westbrook in our future.

No and as I said i wouldn't do it. But if sarver is itching to speed up the rebuild there are far worse ways he could do it. And it clears knight.

Maybe we'd take Shumpert and a future first back. Shump can allow us to then draft whatever position we need since he'd be our backup (or starting SF maybe?).

I don't think the Cavs would trade Love in this type of deal but if they did, I'd gladly take him considering he'd help fast forward our rebuild and we can always deal him later since he still has solid value. Then we don't need to worry about re-signing Len.

They won't get a better offer than Brandon Knight and Warren? They'll likely get plenty of better offers, even from the Lakers. Even Lakers fans are saying they'd give up Clarkson, Nance Jr, and 28.

What is this infatuation with Love? He will not help this team. Love can rot with Cleveland.

I doubt they trade Love. That future first would have to be like 2022. http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/team

Kyler doesn't know much. He usually just pretends he does.

As already mentioned the Lakers are not giving up their youth. Bledsoe/Knight/picks OR Warren/Knight/picks. Maybe they want Chandler in that trade.

I don't know why people think Indy would want Knight. We would probably have to give something away just to trade him without getting anything back, much less Paul George (I know we wouldn't be getting him back, but as far as Indy is concerned it wouldn't matter).

Interesting Podcast with Jonathan Givony.

Three big things that he has said today:

1.Ball is a sure thing at #2.

2.He thinks that the Celtics prefer Tatum over Jackson, he has studied Ainge over the years.

3. He has heard that Isaac was phenomenal in the workout for the Suns. He thinks that we can draft him at #4.

So, at the end of the day, we probably choose Isaac over Jackson and Tatum even if they are available at #4.

Here is the interview:

You guys get massive hard ons so easy when a stars name starts churning in the rumor mill. No thanks to love, Paul or anyone else that doesn't have a first name that starts with a number.

By youth they likely mean Ball (or whoever they take this year, D-Lo and Ingram for the most part, and maybe Randle.

No one wants Knight. He is the 464th best player in the league out of 468, according to RPM. And he makes $14 million. He wouldn't have much trade value, if any if he mad $5 million. The only players worse at RPM are really young guys. That -5.32 is RPM

464 Brandon Knight, PG PHX 54 21.1 -2.24 -3.08 -5.32 -1.63
465 Semaj Christon, PG OKC 64 15.2 -3.76 -1.69 -5.45 -1.40
466 Jahlil Okafor, C PHI 50 22.7 -4.43 -1.26 -5.69 -1.85
467 Wade Baldwin IV, PG MEM 33 12.3 -4.36 -1.43 -5.79 -0.67
468 Mario Hezonja, SG ORL 65 14.8 -4.40 -2.20 -6.60 -2.09

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/page/12/sort/RPM

We are not unloading Knight in this deal. We would only be involved to take back contracts in order to get a pick or something. It's unlikely we will be involved at all directly. We would just be a team helping out another team clear cap space.
