alright that makes sense now

I did a trade with MVF earlier too and I was the first team to have 5 players, in fact most of the teams only had 3 players by then. I selected my 5th player in the early 4th round

And MVF got the player he wanted in the mid 3rd round so I guess it was a win-win situation

It's a good offer as I really like Melo but I'm going to have to decline... I'd rather prefer to keep Thornton and Dirk.

Anyone want an upgrade at the PG position, let me know. I have Delonte West and Kirk Hinrich on the block. I want either an SG or an SF in return.

I am very interested in acquiring Derrick Favors using Jason Thompson as the major piece. I would listen to any offer that doesn't:
1. involve my current head coach
2. involve the remainder of my starting five (ie Steph Curry, Rip Hamilton, Marc Gasol, Luc Mbah Moute)

The remainder of my roster includes Eric Maynor, Antonio McDyess, Leon Powe and Gordon Hayward.

With their first pick the Celtics have decided to pick one of the most experienced international players. A phenomenal passer we feel that he still has untapped potential and playing with Durant and Martin in a fast paced system will allow him to show his skills. We welcome...

With the first pick of the round we pick the coach we always wanted. He has been a winner since he came on the scene way back. With one of the highest career winning percentages(.711) he has constantly made his team a winner. He has turned down numerous NBA coaching offers which would have made him one of the highest paid coaches but not today... Without further ado the Celtics introduce the man who will lead their dynasty...

We'll give the Wizards and Nets some time since their first picks were just skipped

Hmmmm... at this point, it would have to include Melo for sure, and I don't think I like the idea of giving up my franchise player with 4 decently priced years left plus a SG that fits perfectly into my coaches offense for a player with one year left who chucks up twice as many threes as he should... but I guess I'll think about it.

So can I make both my picks right now? I won't be on the computer for quite a while today after this? and I seriously doubt the wizards would want my 2nd guy.

I have been planning on just take 4 minimum contract guys with no experience so I can stay under the luxury tax, but with Big Z still available I can't pass on a capable backup to Dwight that is on an extremely reasonable 1.3 million dollar contract

Wizards skipped

Nets would like to introduce young, talented prospect...

Scottie Reynolds!

304. Hornets are up

Wizards have 2 skipped picks, Cavs have 1

Then:
305. Blazers
306. Pistons
307. Knicks
308. Jazz
309. Pacers

REMINDER: I can't send out PMs for every pick anymore, with a 2 hour time limit it's too hectic, so please check this thread as much as possible or you're liable to end up with multiple skipped picks. Or PM your selections to me or, late at night (EST), TASTIC.

I will choose in a moment, its between two guys that have virtually the same type of game and production so I need a minute to choose...

Hornets pick...

CRAIG SMITH

It was somewhat of a tough choice between him and another banger down low. However, we feel Smith does the same job and can produce more on the offensive end, and can do it at a reasonable price, since we are approaching the lux tax. He is a little undersized but what he lacks in height he makes up for in strength and intensity. He can produce on both ends of the floor and we feel our team needs a player like Smith who can bang down low, crash the boards, and can find a way to score. We feel confident in Smith as an athletic big who will be a great option off our bench.
