In fact, we need to see a TON more PNR-PNP from this Suns team.

Even though he doesn't have a developed big man offensive repertoire, he can hit the mid range shot and more importantly he can hit FT's. Get him involved, get him fouled and get him easy points.

Why do I get the feeling that the Suns will turn Len into a stretch 5 that just camps by the 3pt line?

While I hope that Len is a good mid range shooter, I hope he's awful and stays awful at shooting 3s for the rest of his career.

I hope that doesn't happen. If it does, he'll never develop a reliable post game.

Anyone else annoyed by how much love Jusuf Nurkic gets on the GB whilst few people know who Alex Len is? The Nuggets suck still and Nurkic has had only maybe 5 good games.

Does anyone else notice how effortlessly Len gets his buckets? I don't mean on his gimme buckets either, even though those have to account for his ability to catch the ball, not to put the ball on the ground keep it up high. I mean on his jumper, and when he does get the ball in the post. It's rare, definitely not often enough, but he should be getting more scoring opportunities.

His game last night against the Clippers.

It's ridiculous that Len doesn't get more touches on offense.

If Len was a 3pt chucker, he'd get more touches.

I've said late last year that the Suns players (starters and rotation players) view Len simply to rebound and play defense. And thats what I also thought how he will get significant minutes on the court, by providing what the other 4 players on with him doesnt.. which is grab rebounds and play interior defense.

And he has done a good job at that, but also has proven he can finish down low with dunks... and has enough mobility to get around his man easily... but the players on with him still view him as only a finisher and last option.

By end of the year hopefully they adjust the system to give him 4-5 plays atleast.

If Len got more minutes, he could be putting up Hassan Whiteside type numbers. He has Whiteside type potential.

The touches will come. Len is developing at a pretty rapid rate and I think that's got a lot to do with him concentrating on rebounds, blocks and defense.

His confidence is now high and he's comfortable out there. That might not be the case if he was trying to do too much and turning it over.

There seems to be a plan for Len's development and so far it's working.

I know this doesn't mean much, but I hope this pisses Len off at least a little bit. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad Len gets a small break over all-star weekend, but still...

yeah I think it's dumb that Len didn't make it over Dieng or Olynyk (I kind of get Olynyk because they needed a shooter).

But with the sore foot and just generally needing rest it's probably the best thing for him to not be making the trip to NY.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

That's BS. How did Alex Len, a starter for a playoff team, not make it over guys like Dieng and Olynyk?

Because he is putting up worse numbers.
Anyway he is likely to be Olynyk replacement.

Nurkic could beat him out for it.

I think you're underselling Len here. His potential is much higher than Whiteside, IMO - especially offensively.

Maybe but I feel like your underrating Whiteside a little bit. Other than Davis & Cousins, not sure there's a better 25 & younger big man in the league right now than Whiteside.
