I hate the guy, but I'm taking Lillard. SOMEBODY has to score there!

Also, I'm going to see the Martian now but will be back by 11. Won't keep you guys waiting too long.

I really dislike this pick(a lot) so I'm just gonna have fun and not care(within reason)....

So I'll take Andre Drummond

So you're not even going to give 100%?

Did I say that? No. I'm going to build a team how I'd like. Being at the end of the round makes it more difficult with a 30pick turnaround

I dunno but where I'm from that would indicate a lack of interest and willingness to stay activate throughout the year. That's pretty much all there is to it. If you're going to stay active, build however you want.

I think you are overthinking. He was just unhappy about who was available, and thought at that point a risk was worth it. There is zero reason to think he would not be active.

He literally just said the words 'not care'. This year's league was actually pretty frustrating to put together. Granted, most of that frustration is from my own unfamiliarity with ESPN, as well as being caused by lack of intuitive design on ESPN's part. I simply don't appreciate that sort of sentiment. But if he's going to be active then that's ok.

All of these leagues are frustrating to put together. IMO ESPN is 10X better than yahoo for this stuff and I am a yahoo guy. It may depend on what you are used to but espn is much easier to navigate and draft.

What indication have I given that I wouldn't be active? I was active last year. I've been active in the multiple(5-10) leagues I've done each season.

Quite honestly, I'll build my team however I see fit and I shouldn't need your blessing for that. I said "and not care" as in I'm not going to worry about it, I'm not going to overthink it. That's why I said "I'm just going to have fun" which you apparently breezed by. I even put "within reason" to avoid this kind of overreaction.

You act like I just drafted Greg Oden or something. If you'd like an explanation I'll give you one. Having this late of a pick doesn't allow me to have a superstar that can carry my team. And it doesn't allow me the luxury of floating players until my next pick. So I have to make concise picks that will help me cement my competitiveness in certain categories. Drummond gives me elite rebounds, blocks and steals for his position. Solid points and solid FG%. His FT% obviously sucks but I can't be that picky. There were players above him that are probably better picks but not what I was looking for.

Read the whole post. You don't get to pick a couple words out of the post to try and act like I said I'm not going to be active. Jesus, relax. I'm not sure why your frustration has anything to do with me. My pick was fine, you have no reason to be riding me about it.

As a side note, I just realize this league only has a 12 man roster. Standard ESPN is 13 I believe, is this intentional or an oversight? Just curious.
