At times, Alex Len sucks. Looks like this is his first game in the league.

Nothing can be an overreaction at this point. Down by 32 points and on pace to score below 80 pts.

Well I don't really think of you as overreacting. I used to, for sure. I realized a while ago that's just always how you are.

That is what upsets me so much. Do you think we went after Chandler because of $arver?

(Since he wants to get into the playoffs = more $$$ to fill his pockets because the money purse that comes with getting into the show)

For sure. I also am not entirely sure we trade the pick for Knight if Sarver didn't say something like "we don't need THAT many young guys and picks! We need players who can play now!" At least he isn't selling our own picks any more.

Posters didn't read the disclaimer that says that tha Lakers pick is only Top 3 protected for two more years and will go unprotected if not conveyed by 2017. For real whho can be any worse than Knight?

I have to say when I saw that quote about only being 2 games back I cringed knowing we had Cleveland, and then b2b road games in SA/OKC, and that was before the Bledsoe injury.

hahah Nice one. We have to give more support to this franchise. I've been following more the forum, many people here need to understand that we are in a bad situation and all franchises go through it. The phase of the Steve Nash passed ... people have to relax and wait our young boy coming from the draft. :D

Solution: Just tune off and press simulate until offseason. Oh wait too bad this isn't 2K franchise mode

If that's the solution, then you better keep crying.

Warren/Booker= promising but won't get extended minutes until they prove they can hold their own on the other end
Knight=sucks/ His shot selection makes me wanna gouge out my eyes with this spoon
Len= maybe injured but on the verge of being a lost cause/ nothing to write home about

The thing people forget about the Knight versus Lakers pick situation is that the Lakers pick is a better asset. The Suns could have used it as part of a package for a bigger trade down the line. People who argue Knight is worth more than the pick need to realize, Knight is a sixth man type player who is being paid 70 million dollars. He is incredibly overpaid. Let's say that pick turns out to be the fourth pick of the 2016 draft. Which would you rather have: a small combo guard who is a bench player getting paid like an all star or the fourth pick. I take the fourth pick. No doubt.

Knight is just streaky, and he needs to just learn he is an off guard....if he plays that role and doesn't try to do too much, he can be very good. But then we have Booker too.

I wouldn't totally mind if Bledsoe was the primary ballhandler, and then you have Knight, Booker and Warren rotate between the 2-3 positions. Booker plays 16 minutes at each, Knight 32 at SG, and Warren 32 at SF. Then if you just have a decent backup PG, I think that can probably be a pretty good rotation in the future. Add Terrence Jones and Len develops, and hopefully have Leuer off the bench with Booker for awhile (but Booker still plays 32 minutes as I mentioned) and then eventually, Knight moves to 6th man, but still maybe more in the 2 guard role with a good ball handler.

I'm going against the grain on this board by saying that we are seriously lacking talent on this team. Many on here think that somehow firing Hornacek and bring in a new coach will allow us to "right the ship" and begin to go in a positive direction. bull. I don't care what coach we have, we do not have the talent on this team to win many games.

We have 3 young players in Booker, Warren and Len that we all keep saying just "need playing time to develop". Well guess what, if just 1 of those three players develops into something special we will be very lucky. Archie has never been a good player, either in college or as a pro, so that avenue has already closed.

I am usually one of the few optimists left on this board, but I'm feeling really pessimistic right now. :(

And yet Nash would still get hand checked up and down the court. Yelling at the refs don't get us more calls.

It made me feel better as a fan. Sometimes I feel like I care more than Horny does on the court with his emotionless expressions.

I totally wanted to counter with a Tommyboy quote.

Knight is basically an even streakier Jason Terry/Jamal Crawford with more off nights than ones on. But people though he had Kyrie Irving upside as a pure scoring guard because he was "young" and just needed time to figure things out

Spurs make stars look average due to their defensw.... What did some of you guys think eould happen witha young and messed up system suns.

Len has picked foul trouble is not a coincidence. Goodwim hasnt played in a few games gets thrown in to the lions. Booker shooting and missing plenty. Etc.

The spurs plans for all.

That's exactly what I'm not. I don't say "we should easily beat the Bulls at home" and think our players are better than they are and overvalue them.

I'm just realistic about where this team should be, and especially where they should be without their two best players from last year (unless you count Kieff playing as "not missing him").

We were only expected by Vegas to win 36.5, and that was with Markieff and Bledsoe. We should probably now win in about the high 20s to low 30s with our talent.

Being a homer would be saying we should make the playoffs.

Ehh...not sure I understand this one. If he was a huge homer he'd be saying the Suns are talented/good enough to win games that they clearly have no business winning, which is sort of the complete opposite of what I've seen bw say.
