Something to monitor and just make people aware of if Yahoo doesn't change it is as of now it looks like each active slot is still set at 82 games. With the season only being 72 games this would mean you would potentially have extra games available for each slot.

If Yahoo doesn't change this (or if we can't) then I guess we just roll with it because policing it ourselves seems like a ton of unnecessary work.

I agree with this. I already know you cannot add a player direct to IR, but you could drop someone, pick up an IR player, put him on IR, then pick up another player. That shouldn't be allowed.

It might be difficult to monitor all that though.

You guys talking about the extra COVID IR spot or any of our 3 existing IR spots?

Because last season someone dropped John Wall and I definitely scooped him up to stash him...I don’t see how that should be illegal. If I wanted to pick him up I had to keep him on my active roster?

Yes, that is what I am talking about. A perfect example of the misuse of the IR spot. You dropped a player to add Wall, put him in an IR spot, and then added a player. Completely legal but really not what I would hope to see in the dynasty league.

Really, we should attempt to make this league more like the real NBA which is why a cap system was proposed. Honestly, having a salary system to bid on free agents in the player pool would be way better than the waiver wire. It will stop weird stuff like your John Wall pickup.

Man, I disagree unless you just want to outlaw dropping injured guys...

That´s legal. 4th IR spot will be exclusively for players drafted/hired WITHOUT being injured and then missing time due to covid. God help us all to monitor this

Thanks, I agree with this

Burning my 1st rounder to stash Isaac might prove to be idiotic but I just don't love this class of rookies so figure I'll keep the guy who if healthy will be an elite roto guy next season.

Nope, the set keeper menu item is missing. It was there last night so it has disappeared.

I set the Keeper deadline for Nov 30th, but genius Yahoo probably thought that meant midnight from 29th to 30th. I see several (TASTIC, Sunskerr, Weekapaug, and Desertfox) teams didn´t pick their keepers on the platform, so I´ll just input them manually from this forum.

I did select my keepers on Yahoo, I'm not sure what happened but I do remember doing it there.

I went to "My Team" on the main menu and then it was an option.

I was able to fix this, changing it to 72 games, finishing may 16th.

I also chose an option that said "automatically add injured player to INJ slot". You´re all welcome

All Keepers are in, and the Google Docs "Draft" spreadsheet reflects that.

Our 1st round has 11 picks only. Teams who do NOT have a 1st round pick:

Dmastro32, ZER0, WeekapaugGroove, Kerrsed, mathiaspw.

Draft starts tomorrow. To avoid forum spamming, lets do it in this thread and use the spreadsheet to check whose turn it is, and mods to change the thread title. I'll keep Yahoo as updated as I can to show available players.

From the moment Desertfox states his #1 choice, the clock starts ticking.

Good luck everyone

I have 2 questions:
1. Can I join this league?
2. How do you play?
I've only ever played fantasy football or soccer as you call it in North America

Hi KLEON.

This league is different from others as you manage the same core of drafted players year after year, so we only have openings when someone quits, and you could then inherit their team.

I can reach out to you once we have an opening, but we've been stable now over the last 2 seasons.

Sorry about that.

You should definitely sign up for the G League though, they are looking for new players

The #1 pick is available for the right price. When is my window to make the pick? Link for the Google doc spreadsheet? (nvm found it). Is there a list of available players somewhere?

You can join the G league I believe. Try that thread..it's an easier league.

Covington is on the trade block, always a top 50 player with decent stats across the board. Let me know if you are interested via PM.
