I just am not sure what the Hawks would want unless its expirings for the new Nepotism GM there. Clearing salary - Suns can do that

two weeks - going to be a lot of rumors and stuff. This Rui deal is the first one

Also, that is pretty small price for Hachimura. Couldn't (shouldn't?) have been on with something like that?

Three 2nds, not a big deal but it's not a gift neither.

I am gonna wait to see who we finally get for Crowder.

I liked Hachimura, but I would like another realistic and available players as Eric Gordon, Caleb Martin and (slightly less) Vanderbilt.

Three second rounders would keep GoK busy for several years

So, what 3rd team would want Trent - the Suns ?

TOR: Poeltl, Richardson

Spurs: Saric, Crowder - buy them out

Suns: Trent Jr

So what draft picks would go to the Spurs?

Someone tell me why the Raptors are “increasingly aggressive” in their pursuit of Poeltl? I thought they were sellers but now they want to acquire a starting center on an expiring deal? Unless the asking price for Poeltl is very low, I don’t understand this inconsistent reporting.

They might want a test-drive... also, maybe bird rights? Not sure about Poetls status... also-also, they could be becoming increasingly agressive to get rid of their small guards, as their contributions are fairly negative from output and salary standpoints as well... just my 2c

*edit: them getting Poetl while getting rid of one of the midgets does not mean they are not sellers... they have no guardplay, and will have even less with this move - if they make it. They'll have a very good draft pick this year, then maybe trade Siakam for a young(er) player and picks, and have a core of Barnes/OG/Poetl/Koloko/this years pick/all the stuff they get for Siakam... if the pick this year or the haul for Siakam includes one/two good(ish) guards, thats a killer core

My guess - is there could be a deal where Crowder is shipped to a 4th team as well - maybe the Bucks if they can find 8m of expirng

I see the primary targets for the Suns as

Vanderbilt, Beasley, Gordon, and Martin Jr. Realistically they probably could get all 4 if they wanted to make that much change to the bench, Saric, Shamet, Crowder, probably to a 3rd team, a 1st and few seconds from the Suns probably gets it done.

How many firsts yall willing to part with in order to plug this leaky dike ?
Perpetual catch up is the road we’ll soon be on.

the last thing we need to do is act desperate and send out draft picks to take on contracts other teams do not want. I’m telling ya, Jones is preparing to grab his ankles… willingly.
What ? Me Worry ?

Michael Scotto of HoopsHype has this nugget for us:

The Knicks have expressed interest in Bucks starter Grayson Allen, a career 39.5 percent three-point shooter, league sources told HoopsHype.

Allen’s name has come up in several trade discussions around the league, including several three-team trade concepts where Suns forward Jae Crowder or Rockets guard Eric Gordon would end up in Milwaukee.

Scotto does suggest that the 3-team talks involving the Suns and Rockets could be further along, with regards to the Bucks' feisty sharpshooter.

I don't like the idea of giving up a 1st unless it's a player for the future. Even if it's taking a punt on a high ceiling guy, Id be open to it but anyone else that is what he is at this point, I don't think it's worth it.

I think Kuzma likely has more value if he gets resigned to a long term deal. Teams don't have to deal with his UFA status if they are trading for a guy who's locked in. Good for Kuz to get the bag and get moved later down the road

NBA Insider Marc Stein has confirmed that there is a "rising belief leaguewide" that the Hornets are "prepared to take calls on veterans like Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward and Kelly Oubre Jr."

-Mason Plumlee and Jalen McDaniels are also said to be on the block from Charlotte.

I'd really like to see if there's a way to somehow get all three of Rozier, Oubre, AND Mcdaniels.
