Rockets swapped picks with the Nets to get our picks so they could ask for Booker?

Good luck with that dream

We'll go as far as the superstar players we have can take us but we have mortgaged everything for a group of pansies who can't be bothered to play hard half the time or who won't bother tossing the ball directly to the other team.

If we had Mikal we'd be contending still, and we likely get KD with the picks and other pieces without him

JJ got worked again in a trade. How he has survived this long is something I'll ask God about one day when I die.

Actually - I think Ishbia traded Bridges for Durant. Jones held off making that trade a long time. Now you can blame Jones for Haliburton - but I think Bridges in the trade was all Ishbia

Granted the Bucks gave five second rounders for Crowder - the Suns should have been all over that deal for Ibaka, Hill and Nwosu with 5 second round picks. Used a bunch of that with Cam J and Saric to get Durante - without Bridges and 4 FRPs.
Just a stupid stupid trade

Bridges is overrated. Knicks are crazy. Should’ve done that for Donovan Mitchell not Bridges.

This I would do if they include some picks as well

No way all this Durant trade stuff is true!!! This would signal a MASSIVE fail on our part. Give me Bridges and Cam back!!!

Here's a breakdown of what we can/can't do under the 2nd apron (credit to the NBA forum where it was posted):

that is where it could get very interesting

there is a lot of smoke right now with Durant and the Rockets

and if hte Suns choose to move on - I would applaud them for being honest. I would give Ishbia some respect for understanding the bigger picture. Beal Durant and Booker just might not work

Now the Mavs with Irving and Kyrie are one example - -and I get how good Luka is - -but building around two guys with better players might create a better TEAM than building around 3 guys with limited options

Maybe another good reason to trade Durant. Would get the team possibly better with the cap sooner than later

If we can get off KD for Senguin and our picks back. Then flip our picks for a younger star player I think that’s a good move.
Only question is who is the star player. Not that many stars in the NBA much less who would be available
Maybe for Brandon Ingram or Dejounte Murray

Am I the only one who just doesnt see it with Sengun? lol

Hes very skilled, dont get me wrong, but Im just not seeing the 1A/1B option that everyone else seems to.

Senguin is like the 3rd Gasol brother. He’s like a mix of both Pau and Marc

I’d even try to do KD and Beal to Rockets for Senguin and our picks back and whatever salary filler and 3 way with Cavs for Mitchell and they can have our picks.

Brian Windhorst is just ranting, he has no source.

It absolutely makes no sense for the Rocket to trade for KD, Şengün basic stats is comparable to Jokić's first year, he is their guy and he's only 21

Would need Sengun (sp)&/or Jabari Smith

but the above starts the conversation

Houston apparently has Sengun on the table for a KD trade. Where is BW? He told me constantly that there's no way the Rockets would trade him for Durant lol.

this cannot be real. no way they trade him for grampa snake

Gambo is as hateable as SAS....and all I know of him is via tweets. At least with SAS, he's built up years of dislike via seeing him on TV all the time saying dumb stuff. Gambo manages to accomplish the same w/ half as much effort and accessibility lol.

Now, I really hope a trade happens solely for that jackass to be wrong.

This is not the right attitude.

Now maybe the value for the player isn't there. But trading Durant for the right players, picks is worth looking into

I just hope they are not keeping the players because of ego and not wanting to look foolish. Trading Durant for 50 cents would be stupid. But thinking this team, even with Bud, is close to an NBA Title is foolish
And every year with Durant, as he gets older, Beal gets older, prolongs the inevitable that this team could be terrible for the next 6-8 years

Return to Phoenix Suns
