Might be the best trade. Probably worth seeing if Barrett can be send somewhere else for additional picks or young players.

Can only be either Quickley or Barrett

Yeah, he was saying that we can get any of them.

Just with the Ayton trades here, he is expiring and he is motivated by big contracts. I would not be surprised if Ayton goes all out this season something like 17/12 with high effort defense. He's bound to have a big season. Blazers should be smarter. Keep him and offer him 2 year contract with team option for the 3rd. Best type of contracts for players like Ayton who is motivated by money.

If the Raptors offer is true... Suns have to take it.

IQ is worth another two mid-first round picks and Barrett is actually under rated considering he's a legit 20/5/5 player who can handle the ball... just need better defense. He's also worth a couple of mid-first round picks. He can start on the Suns as main ball handler and have Booker and Dunn off ball , then Beal back Booker and Barrett up as main 6th man is not a bad plan. But need an athletic rebounder next to Poetl.... really keen on Isaacs.

Who do yall like more as a prospect for this team, Jabari or Ware (from Miami)?

I personally like Ware more. Im worried Jabari Smith turns into another Jabari Parker type player. Plus he’s due for a contract extension soon as well.

Just trade Green to another team... problem solved

Smith
Green
2025 and 2027 OR 2029 Suns picks

Granted, not sure the market for Green

I think Suns should demand both Suns picks if they are getting Green.

I understand Suns don't want Green because they have Beal and Booker.... but you can always find a 3rd team to take him.... maybe Pelicans. I'd trade Green for Murray and 2 first rounders... Murray is injured but serviceable when comes back.

Ware is tracking to be a Jarrett Allen type big man.... Jabari Smith Jr was top 3 pick talent and he has shown glimpse of that talent as a Rashard Lewis type player. I think Suns could use Smith Jr more.

Wolves offer is very short term.

They need to offer two extra first rounders.

Every time Charania talks about Durant, he mentions “wild cards” and “dark horses.” His colleague Marc Spears even said there's “fear” from KD and his agent Rich Kleiman that teams won't “respect” what Durant wants.

Sure, everyone wants a say in where they live and work. But Durant’s on a run of bad choices. First KD picked Brooklyn, and the Nets had to trade Jarrett Allen because KD and Kyrie Irving insisted on signing DeAndre Jordan. Disaster. Then he picked Phoenix. After one year, both he and Devin Booker wanted Deandre Ayton to get traded, which resulted in Jusuf Nurkic. And Durant admitted to Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports that he pushed for the Bradley Beal acquisition. Another big mess. Maybe the best thing for Durant is not getting what he wants.

In fact, Durant has already been denied by his top choices. There were rumblings at the trade deadline KD wanted to land with the Celtics or Knicks. New York’s interest reportedly isn’t mutual anymore. Boston’s cap sheet and trajectory make that scenario highly unlikely.

So Ishbia was listening to Durant - Whisky Tango Foxtrot
and the article says Booker and Durant wanted Ayton traded

Maybe the problem wasn't CP3, Ayton or Beal - maybe its as easy as "35+1=36"

Star players almost always have a say in major basketball decisions.

Interesting. Porzingis is the type of modern C that could be a big upgrade for us at that position.

I'm way more interested in Zinger than Gobert. Gobert is still an elite defensive C but I feel like his time has come and gone. C's these days need to do more than just defend and dunk

Easily take this over the Minny offer and I'm not even the biggest fan of this offer

It's been mentioned a few times already. I'm not a Jalen fan but I'm not making him the dealbreaker if it gets us FRP's and Jabari

Other than them sharing the same first names, they are nothing alike. I don't even know how you come to comp them

So basically Wolves and Raptors have the best offers.

Wolves trade is probably slightly better but if Gradey gets added then you do that deal.

Makes so little sense to me this Wolves trade. Especially if there weren't more future firsts on the table. I don't mind DDV but Dillingham and Gobert just doesn't move the needle for me.

Return to Phoenix Suns
