Just got into a twitter battle with some guy from a Minnesota sports site. I basically mentioned that Frye took the money over the chance to win (which I can't blame him for, considering his situation) and the guy asked me why he'd stay in Phoenix if he wanted to win, saying Phoenix is rebuilding.

I let him know the Suns are basically done rebuilding, they're ready to win now, and he started throwing around #9seed and so forth. It was funny.

Our big free agent signing better not be just Bledsoe. The icing on the cake would make flames come out of my ears.... Signing tucker.

Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

They have so many athletic players that can destroy the rim.
The spacing of frye is going to open up everyone's game in Orlando.

Don't be shocked if they make playoffs

I don't know about playoffs, but that AZ frontcourt of Gordon and Frye is interesting. They have some young talent, but if Gordon and Payton play a lot (and I expect them to) I don't think they can get that close to the playoffs. I know the east is pretty weak, but many teams will probably be a bit better.

+1

Everyone needs to calm down and let it play out.

If we don't land the players we wanted, we go to war with who we have on opening day.

The ball movement of the Spurs was just magical and thats exactly what I want from our own team.

Payton,oladipo,Gordon scary athletes.
Open up the floor with frye.
They have a solid center

I think they are dark horses for a east playoff bid.

Wow. Good for Frye. I really enjoyed watching him as a player and I think we're gonna notice the effect he had on our spacing. I would have liked him back but that contract is too much mula for my taste.
So a better question is are we gonna do a S&T or does Orlando have the cap space to sign him outright? I'm assuming they do, so a better question, his salary will be officially off our books, so what is our total amount of cap space we have now?

IMO, nothing is worse than mediocrity. I disliked the idea of getting the 14th pick in the draft. I personally rather go 0-82 than get the 9th seed in the west.

You should become a fan of the 76ers. You'd be a happy fan for quite some time.

For the most part, I do like what Hinkie and the 76ers have done. They are committed to the long-term rebuild by drafting Noel, embiid, and saric. The 76ers FO have implemented consistency in their belief of this rebuild and haven't wavered. As for the suns FO, as impressive as they've been, need to be consistent with theirs too. Ignite the future? How about explode the future by throwing the kitchen sink at lebron? If he refuses, so be it. Go after Love, assuming he commits to an extension. If we miss both boats for love and lebron, rebuild like the 76ers. Play all our rookies and develop them no matter how badly they play. With fryes departure, Kief and Len need to play the bulk of the minutes. By mid-season, if we digress, trade Goran for a superstar or more picks. Painful idea, but likely the direction needed given his age and with the superior talent in the west.

Holy cow, 8mill a year for Frye? I'm so glad we let him go. Spotty shooter, no defense, can't rebound, and would only occasionally have a good stretch of play. We dodged a bullet, IMO.

I'll miss Frye. Not the greatest defender but it always looked like he was trying out there. I think some people here will be surprised at the change in our offense and will look back in regret at not appreciating him more while he was here. At least he didn't go to a team I hate. Wish him luck in the future.

Definitely going to miss Frye! Glad he got a good contract to close out his career! $8 million a year is crazy though. Orlando needs a vet there with all their young talent. He will be good for the locker room.

Glad for Frye, thrilled for the Suns... Thank God for McD cause Sarver would've matched...
