I sure hope not. Granger is done would rather just give Warren and bullock some run.

YOU KNOW....I would prefer Warren to either Pj or Marcus, but it appears with how we have limited and held back our r ookies and sophomores that Jeffs head is up his ass on that subject. So if a vet can change his mind.. a vet who our training staff might be able to help even a little.... and a guy who can be a shooting threat... if that erases Pj as the starter and limits Tuckers and Marcuses playing time, IM ALL FOR IT.

They got rid of Goran because they didn’t want to pay him a lot of money, so they’ll pay him. They are playing for the playoffs, great training staff, and I’m telling you, the living in Phoenix is the best thing you can have. It is so cheap and you can live like a king. I told him he’ll have a five-bedroom house with a theater room and a pool. Don’t feel sorry for Brandon Knight."

Good to hear. Thanks Jared.

Liked everything ? Gawd you SunShine Boys are just looking for rainbows to slide down. Be sure to sweep up your glitter.
The only thing Dudley mentions about the Suns organization is the training staff. Did he say McDuh and the babbler were great to work for ??? nope. Sarver's a great owner ? Nope. You'll love Hornecek ? Nope. This is not like he is going to play for Dallas/Cuban. He says they wouldn't pay Dragic, but they'll pay him ... haha.. ask Bled and Paul about that. They will only pay him what someone else offers.

Dudley liked living in Phnx... thats about it. Wake up SunShiners :noway: before the Suns set on you.

Well it's good he said SOMETHING good. I can imagine Sarver not having a ton of respect across the league, and perhaps McD. He hasn't played for Hornacek. Glad he said something positive about the town since Knight might have been shocked he was traded. It is a good town and nice place to live imo.

Watching the Suns play last night, it was so obvious they missed Dragic.

We are going to regret this trade.

Should have moved Thomas and Plumlee earlier in the year.

A lineup of

Beldsoe/Archie
Dragic/Green
Tucker/Warren
Kieff/Marcus
Len/Wright

With Ennis and the Laker pick + all of our picks as future assets would have been a much better present and future.

Plus whatever we would get for Thomas and Plumlee (late first rounder??)

We got horse ****. Yes. horse ****.

it's not like we had the players we got in the deals either. have to wait and see how the team works with Knight playing before kneejerking

Yeah, had to keep reminding myself that we were essentially 2 rotation players down. Even so, the ball movement looked better.

Watching two Bledsoe's in the back court is going to be awful.

Bledsoe isn't ready and he may never be. Dragic was a much better facilitator. Dragic was also more consistent. Bledsoe can't finish half as good as Dragic. Actually...almost no one could finish like Dragic.

Basically, Dragic kept the backcourt productive last year when Bledsoe would have an off game.

Bledsoe is very inconsistent. Same with Knight.

10th in the west for the next two years when NOP and Sac pass us.

Remember how happy Dragic was just in October?

If we hadn't **** this whole thing up and traded Thomas earlier, we might have Dragic at 70m/5 years like Bledsoe.

yeah we only had 10 active players and the key player we got in the deals was missing. can't put too much emphasis on the game last night. got to see how we look over the last 29 games

the point LukasBMW is trying to make is Dragic runs the offense very smoothly, he transitions in and out of his stop/start much cleaner than Bledsoe. Bledsoe really doesn't know what he's doing alot of times out there he looks like a super sub all star type 6th man most of the time out there not an all star starting point guard.

Dragic is a pure point guard who really should be our guy running the show, Knight and Bledsoe are both one in the same in how they play.

Dragic runs the pick and roll much better than Bledsoe and can hit rollers with a bounce pass. Bledsoe drives then stops and hits guys on the 3 point line with a low pass which makes a huge difference to a 3 point shooter where they get delivered the ball. Delivering the ball accurately into the post, or driving and kicking to the corner is such an underrated part of the game for a point guard. Stats only tell one part of the story

No Dragic was not Steve Nash 2.0.
He lacked passing skills and the killer shooting Nash had. But that does not mean he wasn't a beast at times.
I criticized the suns for signing IT all along, never liked him and now it came back the suns to haunt us. This has nothing to do with the Dragic trade. Suns lost a valuable pick.

Frank Lee wrote:JMac, keep your head in the sand, your ass is prettier anyway  ... Sure I'm sad Goran was gone. I guess I was one of those crazies who thought we made such significant strides last yr that we'd just add to it this yr and keep moving forward. Its not like many were complaining about the 2 PG system. Silly me thinking that both Dragic and Bledsoe adjusted well. Foolish to look at their record together and think is was something real and not a fluke. How could I miss the fact that since 2pgs worked, 3 must be better.

Agreed

Boy do I look stupid for bad mouthing the acquisition of Thomas, the 3 PG circus, ISO ball, the lack of any... any... (diid I say any?) true leadership, the severe deterioration of positive chemistry.

No you don't

You can ride proud JMac thinking this will be a better team now that the problems Goran, IT, Plumlee, Enis are gone...but I don't think this team is better than last yrs, nor would it be as good as it could be if McDuh would have just added a solid rebounder instead of playing fantasy basketball and going with the 4pg system. (I can't believe that dolt even said that)

Maybe, we will see.

And for the record, I am glad Dragic jobbed them on his way out. They screwed the pooch and were spinning their way out of it. You can't treat players like poker chips. You can deny the league wide look at what went down here, until the off season when the 3 blind mice are trying to lure FAs here and can't find one. Heck, there is no guarantee Knight will be happy. He goes from the lead ball in his hands #1 guy to a third option, probably stuck in the corner, guarding players out of position. jeez ... does that sound familiar? Also in a contract yr too ? Lucky for him, he the negotiating blueprint already outlined for him by Bled/Paul. Do you expect anything different.

Insane. Glad he hurt-tried to-us?! Never.

Bogs... I heard that on SatRadio yesterday... the show after Malik Rose... I do not recall who it was, but he claimed to have multiple sources with in the suns family who said the chemistry was so toxic that players weren't even speaking to Thomas. BTW, listened to Amin talk about it. Good listen if you can. So what if he is a former employee. Does not diminish his opinion, it merely salts it a bit rather than a water downed nicey nicey version. He was echoed by many BTW. He had a question about player trades and GMs and he praised Kerr for being so honest and up front. Kerr would consult the players and tell them what was going down when trade talks were happening...and then he made the comparison to McDuh as the GM who walks into the room and everyone wonders who is the next to go. :nonono: These buttplugs have lost the handle on the locker room. They have never wore their shoes (sneakers)

Sinatra,

Goran is gone and he tried to make us look bad by bad mouthing us, so he can bugger off! I will be a Suns fan for life, Goran will not. I am against anyone who tries to hurt our organization, PERIOD!

I should have said "mini Steve Nash"

I agree 100% Dragic was not half the passer that Nash was, but most players aren't.

Dragic did obviously learn tons from Nash and did have some of his "floor general" characteristics.

We are going to miss that dearly.

And while I think FrankLee is being a bit dramatic and negative (what else is new  ), he's also 100% right on this.

Our front office looks bad.

Our insiders have already said that Sarver has gotten a rep for not only being cheap, but also being very one sided during owner/player discussions.

Add in the fact that Frye left with a salty taste in his mouth

Add in the Bledsoe situation from last summer

And now, worse yet, the Dragic situation.

Agents and players cannot think too highly of Sarver/Babby/McDonough right now.

We are going to have to really handle the next few situations well and repair some relationships if we want to be competitive going forward. Otherwise not only are free agents not going to want to sign with us, we also will lose our own players to free agency because they are going to want out.

There is a difference between not letting the players "run things" and playing hard ball to the point where you get a reputation as a place where no one wants to play.
