Well tonight the Suns have everyone but Bledsoe while the Nuggets are missing Gallinari, Mudiay, Nurkic, Arthur, Hickson, and several other players but are still beating the Suns 63-36 at halftime. Now go on and tell me that this does not mean anything because it is preseason. That is a complete joke. The Suns are playing like the worst team in the NBA.

Markieff is doing exactly what Gambo said he was going to do. Make it so the Suns do not want him around. He already has 3 fouls and one technical foul and has the worst plus/minus of anyone at -18 in only 17 minutes of action. He has 7 points and 2 rebounds on 3-9 shooting while his counterpart Faried who has no outside shooting touch so far in his career has 13 points and 6 rebounds on 3-6 shooting in less minutes of action. And Tucker again looks like he does not even belong in the NBA. 0 points and and 2 rebounds in 14 minutes. I expect the Suns to come out in the second half and make it respectable but it does not matter. This team is who it is. I hope management does something about it because this team as currently constructed is going nowhere.

How did we manage to turn so much talent into such s*itty basketball?

I'm in shock.

Well I don't think many fans truly expect the Suns to be a playoff team this year. Perhaps some expect them to be among the worst as you seem to be leaning at the moment. Obviously also most are hopeful we can make the playoffs since we are young and should only improve. But, the jury is obviously out on Knight, as I mentioned, and that piece will make a pretty big difference. The West is too tough to be really competitive fast though. I don't expect a ton of Knight, but I think he will be much better when playing with Bledsoe than he is playing without him.

Coaching is an issue. And again having team mates seing each other as competitors as opposed to being team mates is not a good way yo improve chemistry.

Many here think Markieff is better than Faried... But thats like comparing a Nissan Juke to a Ford F250... Markieff is good for a bunch of points off midrange... Faried is a work horse both sides.. Just so energized and hustles his heart out.

All teams have terrible games. It is shocking but I think our team the last couple of years beat some high seeded tough playoff teams, during the regular season even, pretty badly. And this is the preseason. We are giving the young guys run like many people want. I'm sure the fans wanting us to give the young guys tons of minutes all the time are super stoked right now.

Back in draft night.. I wanted Portis or Looney.

Portis is killing it for Bulls this pre season.

He would of been perfect replacement for Markieff and next to Len....

Lets be honest... Only a couple of fans here didnt mind Booker. I think McD listened to Hornacek with the Booker pick. I only see him as a taller Reddick, Portis may be a future all-star IMO. Just venting since the last 2 games outside of 3-4 minute burst of "hot" shooting... The suns are showing a very vulnerable offensive scheme that would get shut down by good defensive teams easily.

Dude, I think far more than a couple of fans here like the Booker pick over Portis. I liked Portis too, and I'm sure I would have been happy to have him as well, but he did disappear often in college against premier competition. Booker is also a year younger (college years) so it's easier for Portis because of more experience against better competition. I think Booker will be a solid player...he seems very sharp for his age. Portis a year ago would not be doing anything right now in nba competition.

Well people overreact to regular season losses all the time, even close ones, and really overreact to blowouts, but taking anything terribly seriously during a preseason game is overreacting by default. And people overreact the other way too the same way. Preseason isn't terribly meaningful...at least not to me. We are stuck in the below avg spot until we prove otherwise.

Its hilarious how the Denver broadcast just shows Nuggets scoring replays when we're on offense. Guess it makes it more stomachable. But now we've cut their lead within 10!

Yeah these are inconsequential exhibition games. But it allows us to gauge the progress of our youngins cauz they are going up against real NBA talent at least for a half.

Yes, your quote missed my edit so check out my last sentence.

I don't know if anyone else see's this or if I am crazy, but I just quoted a SaintEscaton response, and it actually is listed in the thread before his actual post that I quoted in my response.

Edit: I see he also edited his post..it is slightly different..that must be why.
