Interesting spot for the Suns, they can facilitate a George to Cleveland or do something to help the Lakers clear space so they can get George. McD has been after Love for quite some time. Maybe Sarver gets all fired up at the thought of having a couple of playoff home games. Now McD must use his powers to pit The Lakers against the Cavs in a bidding war for George. Lakers fans are hell-bent that they're going to get George next year as a free agent but if he gets on the Cleveland team who's to say that he wants to leave.

Three big things that he has said today:

1.Ball is a sure thing at #2.

2.He thinks that the Celtics prefer Tatum over Jackson, he has studied Ainge over the years.

3. He has heard that Isaac was phenomenal in the workout for the Suns. He thinks that we can draft him at #4.

So, at the end of the day, we probably choose Isaac over Jackson and Tatum even if they are available at #4.

Funny I was just going to mention that I wouldn't be all that surprised if Jackson drops all the way to 5. I think we are very high on Isaac. If that happened I wouldn't be disappointed. If we took Tatum over Jackson I would be a little disappointed, but things are beginning to scare me about Jackson. Getting past the shooting (or the bad FT% being an indicator of how good of shooter you'll be) was fine with everything else he brought, but the character issues somewhat bothersome. But again, I can get past those.

But then reading that he blew off the Celtics workout, and the Lakers were very un-impressed with him, he never came to Phx but we just went to Sacramento...something feels off if the Celtics decide to trade down, and STILL don't take him, and the Lakers were not totally impressed with Ball, but STILL prefer him over Jackson, is he sliding for a reason?

I think Isaac has more upside and great character, but I do think there is more downside as well, so it's another risky pick.

Why should we help either team? We don't need picks. We need star players to pair up with Booker.

This I agree with. When George experiences winning the way the Cavs would with him on the team, he will probably have a hard time leaving (assuming he gets assurance that LeBron will stay).
If Cavs get George, I think they are right there to take out the W's. You have 2 guys who are arguably 2 of the 3 best players on both teams combined.

I wonder if Bledsoe/Warren could net us the Kings picks along with taking their worst contract Afflalo.

I just can't see the Cavs trading Love for one year of George. It doesn't make too much sense, unless LeBron is leaving after this year or something and they want to give it one last shot.

But then again, I can't see taking on bad contracts for like a 2022 first (which is the first they could offer).

Or he could just keep signing 1+1 deals so he could leave after any year...same with Boston.

I would seriously cry if we take Isaac when we'll have JJ/Tatum available.

Isaac is not far from Chriss and Bender combined in terms of traits so he's McDonough's type.

Bledsoe/Warren/Miami picks for #5/#10? :o

Our 2nd rounders? Sure.

Future 1sts.....eh...i dont know about that one.

Bledsoe/Buddy/Warren/Skal/WCS

Im just looking for a way to nail this draft. If the Celtics take Tatum over Jackson, i would like to find a way to get Jackson AND Issac. Would be also interesting to nab DSJ or Frenchy with that #10 pick too.

I was just thinking, Kings have been after Bledsoe for a while. They also have a major hole at SF with Gay opting out, and Warren should plug right in there. They also dont really have any veteran leadership, something which i think Bledsoe could provide them.

IDK, starting to get Draft fever like crazy, lol.

We would have a legit team and a better shot at landing talent. McD would have to hit Ainge-level status though :D

Well it's kind of looked that way all along, though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Boston took him. He almost certainly has a promise, and said he wouldn't work out with teams lower than four after his second workout with us. But he worked out for Boston too.
If they think take him I think we'd take Tatum, though I'd definitely prefer Jackson..but he has big risks so I could be ok with Tatum.

I have this gut feeling we won't take Jackson even if he's there, and this place go crazy.

That's kind of how I feel about Tatum. I even watched his season highlights today hoping to get me pumped but he is boring. He has a good feel for the game and will be good but he's just not exciting.

I watched Isaac too...much more exciting. Isaac obviously is more raw, but the highlights are still more impressive imo.
