There is zero reason to trade Jimmy for KD. I see the bull is starting up again.

It's probably for the best these goons don't make any moves this deadline given their trade history.

Do not trade KD for Butler --
trade him to GSW and get the "overpay"

Does KD have a NTC? If not, trade him if we get a good return......

Who cares? They're just chasing clout by throwing sh*t against the wall and hoping something sticks.

Can’t we give tyus to the heat with Beal. They get an “efficient” point guard with a discounted contract. Even though I think his contract is fair value because he’s not good.

Ehh, I don’t hate a Butler for KD swap if we’re getting a decent amount of picks and prospects. I would just be concerned that it could drive a wedge between Booker and the front office. Without his blessing that would be a huge error.

I don't really care about the whole KD, Butler, Beal scenario. But I'm still in the Collins would be a great pivot for us without requiring us to trade KD or Beal even though Beal would be optimal for a Collins/ Sexton trade swap.

We could still send Allen and Nurkic/ CLE 27 2st to a team and then Allen to a different team and have those teams send back matching or near matching salary to get up to Collins $ 26.5 million. We'd send out 2 of our CLE 1sts and take back Collins and around 6.5 million in fillers coming back to us.

Since we can't aggregate salary, it'd have to be the combined salaries from the two separate teams recieving Nurkic/ 1st and the team recieving Allen to Utah ( along with our 27' and 29' CLE 1sts. And we'd get back Collins and miscellaneous fillers. Collins would fill our need for an athletic rim running 4/5. Allowing us to slide Durant to the 3, and Dunn to the SG with Book at the point.

And Collins could also serve as our backup 5 option while still being able to complement Ighodaro or Plumlee interchangeably because he can hit the three well!

The additional miscellaneous 6.5 million in salaries could be whatever our other needs might be? Perhaps from one of the other teams recieving Nurkic or Allen. Or from Utah itself? The hardest part being the necessity to have this be a 3-4 team trade due to not combining salaries in a singular trade.

What teams could use Nurkic and Allen and could send Utah expirings or young players?

Sorry man thats just not how it works. Collins isnt an option without sending out Beal/Booker/Durant.

I don't mind trading KD for a package of picks, period. But if we're looking at moving KD, my first port of call probably wouldn't be the Heat and Jimmy. It would be some other team with more picks and such.

For example, the Warriors apparently could've added more picks than what Heat have to offer.
