Let's see if we can't pick up another Leuer for a 2d on draft night, or another Daniels this summer. Underrated players that can contribute. Draft. Sign one or two quality FAs.

We can’t make any moves until we find out where we are drafting, period.

Booker and Gordon would be fun to watch. I would do Chriss and a pick for him. Aaron Gordon is a great teammate and plays hard. Throwing him the max kinda scares me though.

I agree. Chriss or Bender and Pick for him.

Then draft Trae Young

Young, Booker, Warren, Jackson, Gordon (not in position order) for the future would be a good foundation

Anyone else surprised Aaron gordon is only 22? Seems like he’s been in the league forever since that UofA tourney run. 22 Years old averaging 18 and 10, sign me up!

Maybe there's a reason the Magic are trading him?

But DRJ makes a good point - you leave ORL, you blow up.

I just like our current PFs. PLUS, you trade for Gordon, and there goes your ability to sign good FAs this summer. I vote to stand pat, but I almost always do.

I have no idea why the Magic would want to trade AG. He is the only player worth something there, and they will draft in the top3 as it is. I think thats a bogus rumour, sorry. But if it has legs, I'm willing to give them Chriss+Mia+1 or 2 seconds. I might even swap Tyson for Biyombo if they want to shed some salary, but kinda uncertain at that... Maybe if no first round pick is involved, but I doubt they do that.

Looking him up I was surprised as well.

Not exactly his biggest fan, but it's always interesting to imagine what our team might look like.

I think Booker Warren Jackson Gordon and our 1st for 2018 would be a good foundation moving forward. Throw in some vets.

That would be a fun team.

Imagine Booker to Gordon or Trae Young to Gordon!

What free agents? LeBron? This is absolutely the trade that needs to happen. Not Griffin, not Kyrie. Gordon fits the timeline, fits a need. Just need 1 more player and you have your big three set. We have the chips, time to cash them in and get the next Matrix.

I like gordon and would be cool trading for him but I have really no idea whats he's worth in assets or future contract.

Wonder if Ulis takes second string minutes or if it'll be Gray?

I wonder if they are shopping him because he falls in that really hard category of guys that are good so you don't want to lose them for nothing but he's maybe not quite a guy that you would absolutely match a max contract if some team gives him one in FA. Guys like that are hard because if they get overpaid their value as an asset goes down. They also might love my guy Isaac and feel he's the better PF of the future so they are looking to cash in on Gordon.

Y'all hated IT while he was here but love Ulis. Not sure how that makes sense.

I am over Ulis and he shouldn't be included in the future .

Also Suns should have given my buddy from college Xavier Silas a shot! Dude is lighting it up from behind the arch

Uhh I don't love Ulis at all and wasn't even here when IT was here lol. It just wouldn't surprise me if we gave him second string minutes over a D-Leaguer on a 10 day.

I don't think there's some love fest for Ulis here. I didn't like the pick when they made it because I think tiny PG's get exposed by good coaches and get hunted on D. I rooted for the dude and was encouraged by how he played down the stretch last year but he's been abysmal this season.

If McD could swing Gordon and Whiteside while keeping Bender OR Chris’s and our pick, I’d be a happy man.

Draft
Booker-Daniels
Warren-Jackson
Gordon-bender or Chriss
Whiteside-Chandler

No idea what the cap implications are here. Prob not good.

I don't know who all has reported that Gordon is on the block, but the wiretap source is behind a paywall with no specifics. They may be doing due diligence but I imagine they'd want a pretty good return if it's true. If it is true, I'd like to hear it from a better source.

His numbers have really dropped off after a hot start. But despite that, he did make a huge jump in 3 pt % from last year compared to this year and is a very active player. They might want more of a return than one of our PFs and a Miami pick...and the only reason I think they'd even consider that is the cost savings and because they think Isaac is their 4 of the future (in which case, why would they really want one of our PFs anyway).

If he has the perception to gather the max, I say absolutely not. But if he's around 16m a year, it's worth a look to see what you can trade for him.

I just don't want to put ourselves in the position of having to pay him whatever the market commands. If $16 mil gets it done, why not just make a RFA offer, or S&T this summer, when presumably we would have greater leverage (as ORL would worry about losing him for nothing)?
