'25-'26 Dynasty - H2H format, dmastro32 check in, keepers, new rules p94, draft oct 14

With 12-1 votes, the h2h vote is an astounding success. I'll have the general rules drafted at the latest by early summer (things like whether or not we use G and F instead of PG/SG/SF/PF positions, weekly max games, playoffs dates etc).

But yeah we will be doing 9-cat h2h next year with the 12 total roster spots (9 starters/3 bench like now).

Can you change it so we have 2 IR+ instead of 2 IR as well next season? Makes way more sense.

Up voted this post. 2 IR+ and 1 IR would solve problems instead of Increasing total IR/IR+ slots to 4 or 5.

I agree with this. So many times I had like 3 players out but could only put 1 on IR.

Yeah this was already in the plans for next year when I wasn't able to do it this year because of Yahoo restrictions (you cannot change IL to IL+ mid year, you can only add a literal new spot).

So don't worry it will happen.

Almost end of season and you guys don't have much activity in this thread. Are you sure you guys really want to play this league? Or part and parcel of a dynasty league, it's just set and forget type of thing. LOL

It's a combo of roto+dynasty. Most of dynasty's activity occurs around draft time, which is preceded by only a few mid-offseason trades. And roto in general is the most hands off format. If you see the poll which is basically finished, 15/16 managers voted.

Probably will be a lot more discussion when we go h2h. Once things get set in roto there isn't much to talk about. I wasn't trying to get too far ahead in games, but then had a slew of injuries, so I likely won't make a run at the end to move up.

So since the season is winding down and was pretty uneventful, and we're switching to H2H next year, if y'all have any suggestions for next season please feel free to do so.

Thoughts on this year:
I feel like my team was ridiculous this year. But ultimately I don't even think it is the best team ever assembled in our leagues history. I had a look back and I think that team is technically Qwigglez from 2023 where the top 3-4 teams were all pretty insane. It just happened that this year there were some big injuries and declines (old players declining is something I predicted in the preseason) to older players on some top teams whilst my two best players basically had near full seasons. I'm surprised the gap has increased to about 20 points even missing Ingram and suggs for most of the year but that probably tells you how bad other teams had it with injuries.
