Might as well give this team the 'Logan's Run' treatment.

Take Fultz with our pick, Fox or Monk with the Dallas pick, and Bam with the Bucks pick? I like it.

Then match Len and extend Warren because we need SOME guys making more then rookie deals on this roster.

The best playmaker big in the draft. Looks a lot like Markkanen as a prospect. He's not a 7'0 sniper tho.

Looks like a mistake, but who knows?

He's going to test well athletically. I feel like he's a guy who can out-play his draft position, which will be attractive to both talent-starved teams and "stacked" teams that don't mind developing him.

Yeah, same with Anigbogu... VERY RAW prospects with oozing athletic ability.

Comanche also declared w/o hiring an agent. There's really no downside for any borderline NBA prospect to do this.

Man Romar would be a nice addition. Not only for his recruiting but to get a calming type player's coach on the staff. Miller gets too intense at times and it makes the players get tight out there. I never thought much of Pasternack.

Testing the waters is fine, Kobi is expected to sign with an agent tho.
I guess Comanche will come back and the Romar's hire will bring our recruitment level to another dimension. I loved it.

I am going back and forth between Josh Jackson and Jayson Tatum. Tatum seems to be more NBA ready than Ingram but has the same skillset IMO.

Also, don't understand the poll when we have a 1 1/2 game lead on the Lakers for 2nd place.

If we draft JJ imagine a lineup of Booker and him in the backcourt, Tj as the three, and Chriss and Bender in the frontcourt.
Him and booker are both fine as playmakers to handle taking it up. Would be tough to contain giving the versatility and that theyre all above 6'6

If we happen to win 2 out of our last 3, beating Dallas (resting players and losing a lot themselves) and Sacramento and Lakers lose out we could finish 3rd, but poll was set before Lakers beat Spurs, so we were basically tied.

So it appears, as a consensus, we want Jackson more than Ball (at 2nd if Fultz is gone), Ball more than Tatum (at 3 if JJ and Fultz are gone), Tatum more than Isaac (at 4), Isaac more than anyone else (at 5), and after that for 6th, Ntilinika, Smith and Markkanen are close, but French Frank edges them out barely.

I will make one last poll since there is one unanswered question. What if we finish first? Is there a chance the consensus would rather have Jackson than Fultz?

I like Tatum, I think he can be an effective faceup PF in the NBA. He reminds me of Jabari Parker IMO, similar strengths and weaknesses.

One of my favourite prospects in this draft, I think he is an all around player that can play and defend multiple positions. I think he is a good defensive player too, better than Jabari in that aspect of his game.

Another huge athlete from Kentucky. Lives at the rim. Bad shooting/terrible shot selection = very sad combo tho.

Nope. Scratch Lonzo off the list. I wouldn't take him in the first round.

On Tankathon and Lottery Mock Draft Generator, the 6'ers keep making out like bandits. As it stands right now, the Lakers have less than a 50% chance of keeping their pick. This draft would be so ridiculously exciting if we still had the Laker's pick. Dead horse, I know........narrrgggg.........sigh.

yeah, that's why keep the bottom #2 seed was really important for them.
maybe something is in the works right now, doesnt make any sense for them.

Lonzo choosing Lakers over the #1 pick and they lose it in the lottery? Would be fun as hell but I'm still getting the Kobe's vibe in this whole situation.

I haven't read Chad Ford's article, but it says in the little snippet that talking to GMs and scouts some teams would take Fultz and others Ball with the #1 pick. So he has his mock draft generator up and I played it until the Suns won it, and he had us taking Ball. I wonder what people would do here if we got the #1 pick and took Ball.

Here is the tool...I played it a few times...most took Fultz at #1, but us and the Lakers took Ball.

Interesting.
LAL took Ball at #1 and we got JJ before Fultz.
Tatum at #4 when Lonzo/Ball/JJ are gone.

That would be strange if we had him ranked as low as 3rd. I wonder if there is a scenario in there where we have the third pick and Ball and JJ go 1 and 2...I wonder if it has us taking Tatum.

I'll keep trying here, but looks like a very unlikely scenario. Only LAL/DET/DEN/DAL takes Ball with their #1 pick.
Would need a perfect storm with anyone else taking JJ before Fultz too and then our pick.

Some tidbits so far: We're the only team who took JJ before Fultz.
We're way higher on Tatum than most teams too, if we pick someone else he slides HARD.

You heard him saying it's cause he would be close to his family, right? I see no problem in that. Phoenix is close enough for him to be happy here.

I noticed he slides hard and when I was doing it we took him at 4 and 5. That's why I wonder if Ford has us as the ONLY team that would take JJ and Ball over Fultz...it leads me to believe he knows something, unless he is just thinking Fultz is more of a combo or 2 guard and we have Booker and it's just his personal thoughts.

Makes me wonder if he knows we want nothing to do with Fultz or something. Of course if we told him that we may love him and are feeding him BS though, of course.
