Is Damion Lee out for months?

How would we play Boston?

White, Holiday, Brown, Tatum, Porzingis
Beal, Booker, Durant, Bates-Diop, Nurkic

That's a pretty heavy weight battle, we have the better bench too.

He wouldn't play in playoffs but might have been someone to eat minutes if Beal, Booker were out for a while

See you did it again. First it was "great". Now it's "perfect". Don't be so obvious.

The injury occurred due to MrMiyagi of the Suns RealGM board jinxing his own team. :x

For real though - I've never seen anyone doom their own squad like that. So miserable.
We added 3 major rotation players who have not played more than 60 games in the past 3 seasons. Just setting some realistic expectations that our dudes are going to be missing lots of time.

Oh gee I guess I never thought about injuries… I’m glad this has been brought to the boards attention.

To be honest suns should have tried for Brogdan and Grant Williams Vs Nurkic and Allen

Lee was like the 13th man maybe 14th ahead of only like Bol and maybe Metu...this won't mean anything particularly since Allen and Little are both better than him. Just have to be honest about it - lots of guys on our team who are better than him and that's the way it should be. Maybe he gets cut instead of Keon Johnson now. Who knows.

One other thing to keep in mind is this is for all intents an entirely different team, new coach, KD was only here for 8 regular season games, Book is literally the only player back that played significant minutes last year and will again this year, other than that all new guys. Likely takes some time, question is how quick do they come together. Not sure they ever did last year after the KD trade. Having training camp will help no doubt but...

I'm sure the data exists somewhere but I don't think a roster has ever been turned over as much as the Suns have, ever...

If Lee is going to be out for a substantial amount of time, I wonder if he becomes a cut candidate. He’s a good guy, but I doubt he cracks the rotation at all.

Not a problem for deep pockets Ishbia. It's only $5 million and he can write it off.

Seeing Brogdan, Jrue, and Dame switch teams due to the Ayton trade makes me mad.

We needed a pure starting PG and 3 of the top 10 guys just fell through our hands.

I think I'd rather we just tried to trade Ayton strait up for Dame and run KD at Center with Dame/Beal/Booker/whocares as 1-4.

We'd outscore everyone.

Realistically though it might be better to keep Keon Johnson and Nassir Little for development purposes and hand Damion Lee and Ish Wainwright their walking papers.

Yeah, really sucks for D Lee. He’s an easy guy to root for and seems to be a really good teammate. Unfortunately, the Suns will probably have to waive him now, like you mentioned. Injuries really suck.

4 months would have him back after All-Star break, we're 17 deep maybe just keep him in case we need an experienced guard if Beal or Booker are out. He's also sort of an emergency PG.

Ish Wainright is another guy who probably will be waived. Another guy that is a solid dude off the court. He is the best when it comes to interacting with fans at the games. I wanted him to succeed with us so bad after he lost his dad mid season last year. Maybe we can sign to a 2way spot after we waive him?

I think he was taking a break from here.
Hard to stay motivated to post when people can't simply ignore posts they have no interest in reading and rip on him instead. Some people need an outlet to vent on and for some reason people used him as their punching bag.

He never cared about that. He was good natured and never let it bother him or deter him.

Perhaps. Still doesn't excuse the way people treated him

Lee going down means Keon Johnson gets to stay. One awesome fact that still exists...... I am not ever gonna see Landry Shamet checking into a game with SUNS across his chest!!!

Plus another 5-10 mil in tax. Not as simple as cutting him.
